I'm really curious on your favorite setup for NYC and city skating. Your wheelbase looks long (that's what she said), but other youtubers have said that they prefer a shorter wheelbase for cities. The other youtubers are also middle-aged overweight men. I haven't bought new skates in a long time and can't decide on number, size of wheels, and wheelbase. There are so many options now.
Love the vids, your stride is like sergei federov in his prime! With the mask btw ones with a valve are much comfier when you are active, much cooler, less heat
I’ve been so happy with my stock fr’s. Just downsized and it feels great. I never had to mess with the frame unlike with powerslide soft boots I’ve messed around with

I’m just waiting to approve the Trinity prototypes I have being made right now. As soon as I have them in my hands and can verify fit on a bunch of Trinity boots then I’ll be putting them into production.
I remember slalom course across from Tavern on the Green. Doubt they do it still but that was the spot for regular social bladers. Dancers and aggressive skaters were down by sheep’s meadow at the flats

I'm a little bit curious, which style of roller do you suggest for new skaters? Like... between Rollerblades and Rollerskates? And maybe... suggested number of wheels per skate.
He says he's no wizard skater and then swivels beautifully! Imagine if he considered himself a wizard skater! 😅 I've got the regular Arc5, which is longer and uses bigger wheels than the Arc5 CS he's using here, and the regular Arc5 is absurdly more maneuverable than the Endless 4x84. I can't even imagine how amazingly swivable the Arc5 SC is!
It’s designed to have the same rocker experience you get with the standard Arc….just with tighter pivot spacing and a shorter overall length. So if you ever get a chance to try the CS you will likely feel right at home. 😊
This was great, Ari! It was cool to see how natural and fluid you looked on this setup compared to the longer standard Arc 84/76 setup. How did the speed feel getting across the city on the new 68 and 76 mm Cloud wheels?
Thanks Brad, yeah I struggled on the regular arc and didn't have enough time on it regularly to get used to it. This was SOO much more natural for me and I really enjoyed it. I didn't put the wheels to the test in terms of speed just yet, but first impressions, they are fast . Appreciate everything you do for me and the sport!

@@Monkeybolloc763Yes, the Arc CS uses 68 and 76 mm wheels. We have created a wheel specifically for this frame in both of these sizes using a really excellent urethane compound.

What size skates do you wear? I wear a 43-44 and i think the CS is not recommend for wizard skating but for urban figure skating. I'm still deciding if I should get CS or the regular arc
Thank you so much Erwin! I'm a size 7.5 or 40 in most brands. I ride a 41 from time to time. I skated the regular Arc in a 41 and struggled with it, I would make your decision based on what frames you typically ride on and choose something of similar length to make the transition a bit more natural.
@@fisherchi Hi Erwin, I would recommend the regular Arc for most people trying to wizard skate in a size 41 boot. It's perfect for that size. The only exception is if you are looking for a more compact setup that maybe leans a little more towards the dancey/playful side of things, and you don't really care to have a longer frame that says "I'm a wizard skater", or require extra speed for more intense urban skating. The first time I skated the Arc CS prototype (I'm size 42) I thought "this kind of feels like an ice skate". For a person with a size 36 boot, however, it's going to feel more like when I skate the standard Arc on my size 42 boot.
When are you gunna just actually try aggressive forreal lol I see u thro little hints n nods to it in your street riding but u should grab some sways or something and try throwing down a bit, tho there is a good deal of getting banged up
Dude, you're good enough to ride some real wizard boots and frames. As good as your setup is, when you get seba boots and wizard frames, you'll look at what you're riding in this video as great starter skates.

As for the pants you actually want tighter and more flexible so you’re not battling all of that extra fabric. I know most men feel insecure, wearing tight fitting pants, but here’s the thing everybody has the same body parts, so it just comes down to is one secure enough with one’s self and one’s on anatomy to wear a garment that is actually the most functional

If you haven't tried them still, man... 5 smaller wheels are a different beast. It would be a substantially different experience for you.
