From the webcomic reader perspective it means ‘through thick and thin, this ship has sailed successfully (basically the ship has either stayed strong as ever or continued to get better or just started sailing)

It’s funny because all the reasons they listed for maybe putting them in “it’s good but…” would’ve been my reasons for putting them in protecc! They got through some tough stuff this season and came out the other side stronger. Their miscommunication felt pretty typical for high school couples struggling with heavy stuff tbh - but the beautiful communication by the end was just 👩🍳💋
Personally, I think they should go in Protec, too. Like, I totally understand the reasoning, but just like Nick and Charlie, they support each other through their respective issues. When Darcy opened up about her family, Tara was there for her, just like when Tara came out and caught all that vile flak from the people at school. They're mirror images in that way.
