Usually LEGO fans buy 1 or 2 of the minifigs 10 times (because it's a knight, or has a goat, etc - to add to their medieval / fantasy / castle sets). This series was an easy get 10+ of each. Maybe except the Lady of pain.I got 20 Paladins, really well made and useful for all sorts of knights and 10-16 of the rest for fancy mercenaries. I did get 20 Tashas - these are great for archers / assassins. The fact that lego made sure to make the torsos skin tone neutral is another detail they nailed making both lego and D&D fans happy. They made the Gith Yellow to give LEGO fans that like / love / want yellow skin fgs a pair of elf ears that are easy to get. It was really smart of them. A rare instance when they try to make LEGO castle / fantasy fans happy.
I agree when I saw this series get announced I knew it was one I was gonna have to get as many as a could of every fig. And the customization options are fantastic! Perfect for army building & making unique player characters. Thanks for the insightful comment!
@@acbrickfilms218 I am not huge on investment, however I think this will be one of these CMFs that will skyrocket in price once they are no longer available. If you have time / want to do it, I would suggest reviewing this again after 6+ months to see how well the CMFs are doing on the aftermarket. I presume all will be above $20 except Lady of pain and some others that are only needed as 1 offs like Zsas Tam and Stradt. I will eagerly watch to see how these do on the aftermarket for future releases.
@@octav1600 Great video idea, I'll have to remember that! I'm sure the prices of these, and the D&D set once it eventually retires, are bound to skyrocket. I don't really invest in LEGO for the most part, but these are deff worth an exception.
@@acbrickfilms218 I don't invest either (only in the privilege of not paying an arm and a leg myself when I want something), but it's baffling how some prices increase. Not sure if real or not, but the CMF Knights are somewhere north of 40 -50 Euro a pop. I suspect these will do even better. And there's the Goats
