However, this season, the eagles swooped for former Eintracht Frankfurt manager Oliver Glasner and now they're flying. In this video, we uncover how a mixture of tactical ingenuity, positive mentality and teamwork has resulted in Crystal Palace becoming a serious threat at last. This is how Oliver Glasner has revitalised Crystal Palace!

Losing Olise or Eze this summer is going to break my heart. I'm still mourning Zaha😂😢
Loved the takes, keep up the good work. Cheers from Cleveland

Glad you enjoyed the video! Losing Eze or Olise will be a huge loss for Palace, will be vital they replace them adequately. What do you think of Matheus Franca?

Matheus Franca - hard to rate as he was never given much game time by Roy before his injury

As long as Glasner is coach of Crystal Palace this club has no problem

well done guys great show pitty this season had to end
one thing that a lot of outsiders have missed with Palace this year is having such a thin squad, Roy bought back sooner and overplayed both Eze & Olise after coming back from injury setbacks this caused more time off and many falsely suggesting they are injury prone

Thanks for the message! Glad you enjoyed the video!
I agree Squad depth is what Palace need to prioritise next season. Any injuries and the squad becomes significantly worse in any position. Perhaps selling someone like Olise could fund a number of deals🤔

Some good take being discussed on Crystal Palace FC but Richards is from the US and is not English, Doucoure is currently injured and on his return he will have to battle to get back into the side but he is maybe our best central midfielder and Wharton joined the club a few months ago in the January transfer window.
Good podcast and i'm a new subscriber.

Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed the video!🙌
We realised our mistake with Richards after recording😅
Do you think a Doucoure x Wharton Midfield works? Would Wharton have to play a deeper role?

@@TheFootballChat Yes I think a midfield of Doucoure and Wharton could definately work, with Doucoure sitting slightly deeper. Or as the side is currently playing, both of them being deep. Which gives the back 3 that much needed cover.
Hughes is doing brilliantly in there and as a combination him and Wharton really do look the part and give the side a great foundation. However Doucoure and also Lerma, will offer quality competition for places, which is what you need in the Premiership.
Wharton is a great talent who has raised the bar and he combined with any of the others I believe Glasner could make make work but as I said before right now, the youngster alongside Hughes do look special.
