I'm from Philly ,I don't necessarily agree with that, it all depends on the barber and what the client wants but,,, I have seen Philly Barbers that do enjoy pushing back that line all crazy Lol
C cup was pushed back too back imo. I absolutely agree with all your points. However, he's a nasty barber. Any time I see a barber bother with detail work, I already know they care about their craft and it's going to be a fire cut.

what is the difference between foundations course and the online academy? I dont know anything at all about barbering. I just ordered some clippers and trimmers and dont have money for school but I want to learn how to cut hair. I just dont know where to start.
I’m super old school, like a 1976 barber trained me in the ‘80’s.... I learned fades top to down...I have a hard time cutting from the bottom to top. Have you ever done top to bottom? BTW I still use my Classic ‘76 I bought in 1988!

I think looking at the head shape too see how much space you have to work with is important not every head is the same Also I like too detail as I blend so when I’m done with the line up I don’t have too detail as much but even if I try not to detail I find myself detailing!!!! Sometimes i feel like it’s just how I cut learned so many different styles that I have collided everything too one

I did love the c cup. I feel that it was not only a fresh cut but a natural cut. The c cup was crisp with his style. Many c cups that I see need to be enhanced because barbers are afraid of the regrowth. That right there was 🔥

I mean as far as the arches/ c-cups go, you can't expect not to take hair off and get a sharp arch . It's called a line up after all meaning ya need to take hair off within reason.
