The actor playing Dickie is a huge talent; it takes a lot to make a character a sniveling weasel without turning him into some sort of caricature, and to take him seriously. I may despise the character, but I admire the actor, whose name escapes me at the moment; I'll have to go look it up.
Dickie is a top tier side character in a show filled with fantastic incredible characters. The way Justified would build up all these great folk each season and then if they survived the finale they'd just be around and show up for a lil while the next season and enhance the show is why it's a favourite.
@@kipclifton9403 No clue Kip, but if you recognize it, trust ya - I deal here with the Chicago accent since I live here and can tell the difference. props. (Mother-side is from TX. However, born and raised in Chicago)
If Raylan would just say "mommy says im not allowed to have chocolate before dinner" in british accent he might spin Daniels head enough to take a chance on escaping. You are welcome.
Against all odds, isn't Dickie Bennett still alive in a Harlan County Correctional Facility somewhere? Perhaps he along with Boyd, and Loretta, could make a guest appearance, if there's more "Justified" episodes still to come?
@@WolfRamAndHartsorry I have no idea why I said that, Dickie is a paraplegic now. We see in the end of the show that he is completely removed from any money he might’ve gotten from his mother. In the end, he is this incredibly lonely, pathetic, angry boy who quite literally has nothing and no body.
"Dickie, I didn't pull the trigger but I'll sleep like a baby knowin he will" one of my favorite Raylan lines, ice cold

Jeremy Davies he is amazing to watch
Also plays Upham from Saving Private Ryan
Yep, he was Emmy-nominated for guest actor for season 2 and then won for season 3.
Jeremy Davies is such a stellar actor, that Emmy was soundly deserved.

Awfully cool being halfway through the first season knowing there's a lot more to come.
"NOW! Got dammit" 😂
Raylan said "No! No!" when Dickie was about to bat him the first time.
all folks acted well in that scene.
I love how they don't butcher the accents, only slightly off from our pulaski County.

Sold I have to watch this show
I'm jealous you are watching it for the first time.
....and you'll binge watch it a second time...and a third time, and a fourth time...
bro watch it NOW
Great Show. Wish it would come back.
They did, this year - Justified: City Primeval.
@aaronsanders6162because it sucked
-He shot Ava!
-How bad?
-That's not the point.
Such a underrated line 😂
Dickie going on to become a Norse god just made sense.
Then a time traveler on an island
I wonder how many takes they did of this scene. That must have sucked having to hang on one leg.

Hanging like that must have hard.
Just another great example of why this was a fine show. And, what Yellowstone could’ve been with decent writers.
Yellowstone is too busy focusing on beth rofl
Loved justified
@@jkhadem5729 Maybe get someone to play Beth who can act?
Yellowstone takes itself wayyyyyy too seriously.
2:27 I vote for the first one.

No Dickie is dead
@@EliteXclutchX21Source? I don't recall Dickie being deceased.
I remember him being alive in a federal Penn also
