- The MS-DOS Ukraine virus is a memory resident parasitic encrypted virus, the virus is loaded into mem and stays in memory and corrupts/infecting .com .bat .exe .txt, ect. The payload triggers on the 24th of ANY month. the text says in Ukrainian "24 СЕРПНЯ - ДЕНЬ НЕЗАЛЕЖНОСТІ УКРАІНИ !!!" which translate in English to "24 August - INDEPENDENCE DAY of UKRAINE!!!" ...
