Fantastic - best version I have ever heard. And a terrific camera angle on the banjo-playing right hand. Wish I understood better why this stuff is so powerful.
Just a 'Banjo Player's Trivia' observation: You hold the neck of your banjo on a higher angle than you used to. You used to hold it out at around chest level. Now you're up at around ear level. I've been playing Greasy Coat a lot myself lately. It's a fun tune. Nice playing Maggie and Molly! Thanks!
Fantastic. Precisely what fiddles and banjos were born to do, play together.
You mountain folk make good music!

Love this!
I prefer the Sacred Harp stuff, but this is awesome too. Very organic sounding.
Great job, ladies. But where is the couch? And where's the CD?
Please, please, please make an album.
really great unique take on thi song, gives it kind of a feminine melancholy feel. if that makes any sense
No, it's an old Gibson tenor with a rebuilt neck
fun! thanks.
Is that an Enoch Tradesman banjo?
