    Name something cuter than a Wombat. I'll wait...

      The Edible Dormouse is pretty adorable, but if you want native Aussie wildlife, I’ve always been partial to Common Brushtail Possums.

      @@TheWildlifeBrothers had to google that one!! I was wondering what makes it Edible!! haha. They look a bit like our Pygmy Possums here in Australia, super cute!! Check out Feather Tailed Gliders if you want some more possum cuteness!!

      Feather tailed Gliders are so cute, I would argue that marsupials in general are a cuteness overload! Hopefully their naturally endearing qualities will give people a reason to support their conservation, and I hope one day we view scaly critters as equally admirable as furry ones!

    Thanks JJ, I have been thinking of coming to Oz to visit Kangaroo Valley specifically for the wombats.... well, and echidnas too if I can find them, and I was wondering if KV is a good place to see them. And you have just given me all the evidence I need.

    What a great video! Australia is amazing, and the biodiversity is great! Seeing wild wombats sure are a treat, never found wild wombats when I visited. So it was great to hear some information on them from you. Great stuff man! Keep it up

    Amazing stuff as always JJ, it is so cool to see wombats out during the day! Common Wombats may not be the most internationally recognized marsupial, but we love those little guys! The video was spectacular, each shot was better than the last, which is exactly what we’ve come to expect from you. I aspire to produce videos as professional and well shot as yours one day! Keep em comin man, your future on TH-cam is more than bright.

    Loved your video, we are hoping to go down there shortly. May I ask which park you ended up staying in?😀

    • @JJEmersonWildlife
      @JJEmersonWildlife  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks so much! There are two caravan parks in the main town in Kangaroo Valley (about 10 minutes from the wombats), so I just stayed in one of them. I think it was about $15 for an unpowered tent site. You can usually camp for free at Bendeela (where the wombats are) but when I was there it was a no go due to Covid... I hope you have fun down there, let me know how you go!!
