I'm too excited!!! I managed to reach the splits following your video... I'm all shivering. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜 You don't know how much I would like to hug you 🤗 and thank you for this wonderful video. Thank you so much. Namasté 🙏
What I am amazed at is how the body can do this even later in life. I am in my 50s and I haven't done a split since I was in high school. I did Gymastics. For some reason, after high school finished, I just never did the splits again and never thought of them. Then, years later I thought how I wish I had kept it up because it would be cool at an older age, to be able to do them again. I thought I was too old. But recently, I thought, what the hell, why not try? I went back to my old ways of learning to do the splits, what I did back in school so many years ago...very much like what you are doing but I didn't have Yoga blocks. Slowly but surely, I am coming quite close to doing a split again! I am actually quite surprised. I thought the days were done because when I first began to try to do this again, I was a bit off the floor but after just a few days I noticed a huge improvement. Now its been a few weeks, and I am in no rush, but it's getting there. I am amazed. Plus, it feels really great on the hips and legs.
I’m nearly 70 (in a few months) and never did splits before. I have both hips replaced and do full front to back splits, both sides! Much to the chagrin of my orthopedic doctor! Can be done at any age! Even with joint replacements!
Hello, stretching exercises are really great for the body☀. I increased my height by 4 inches in 4 months and this result is truly incredible for me. During this period, I used Shiydf and did regular stretching exercises every week. I hope everyone achieves their dreams!
Thank you Cathy! This is really helping reach a goal of mine! When you are pushing the hamstring and back of the foot, it is only a slight push, correct?
Wow I can't believe I get that far without feeling pain in my harmstrings. But the hips of the back leg are taking me a long, long, long time. Is there a way to isolate hip flexors in order to improve their flexibility? I can tell that my harmstrings could go further without problem but my hip flexors on the back leg are making me get stuck in the same height for months now.
Your information on the psoas is incorrect. Yare talking about the psoas muscle, but to isolate it you need to pre-stretch your torso to the side and PNF from that position. You are stretching the iliopsoas in a straight poison.
