There's hope for the future when you see young men like this guy ! Hard work and respect gets you a long way. Would love to see where this kid ends up in 10years!
Still own and Drive my 1974 Dodge Club Cab Power Wagon. Originally bought New by my Dad. I bought it from him in 1980. Still Running the 440 V8 with 4 Speed manual Transmission. Refuse offers to sell it all the time
Joseph - You've learned some lessons I didn't learn until I was a lot older than you are. You've got a good head on your shoulders. Keep listending to your dad, it sounds like he's giving you good advice. I'll tell you something I don't say very often. If you were my son, I would be proud as hell of you. You're going' places, young man. Whatever your dream is, keep working toward it.
I think he should get the head gasket checked out. A puff of white smoke from the muffler usually means water or coolant is finding it's way into the cylinders.
I’m 19 and building a 1977 c25 , first gen dodges are clean trucks too. But this is an inspiration to me man. Lol I’ve had the truck since I was 17. Saved up a lot of money from just working like you man.
The power ram means it’s a 4x4 the 2 wheel drive trucks didn’t have the power badges. And the LE package depends on what the buyer ordered it with. Mostly the LE package is power locks and windows and a/c. Some trucks came with cassette radios. I’m 17 as well with a 1987 dodge w150
John Mcclane yeah I agree the grill style looks way better compared to the 91-93. Personally I think it looks more classy more like it belongs on the truck and not too new
My first vehicle was a similarly painted 1990 Dodge 150 4x4 Supercab truck with a 318 engine. It was my dads truck and he sold it to me in 1994, it was all stock except for some chrome 8 spoke wheels. To me at the time it was the most beautiful truck on earth.
I have a 1990 Dodge 1/2 Ton truck to, Extended Cab Long bed, has a 318 motor and a Granny 4 speed Transmission. Not a power house but she gets me where I to go. My first truck ever and i love the thing so much, my truck also had lots of room under the hood to.
I love seeing young people drive and have a passion for old trucks as myself not to brag but I'm turning 15 and I drive a lowered 1985 dodge D150 4speed and I love it
Sweet dad had a Dodge warlock! It was nice he kept it 2 weeks and traded it in for a power wagon. because it's was so nice he didn't want to scratch up tha bed. And it nice to see tha younger generation in ole trucks. UBT 4 life!
Got a d150 givin to me when i was 16, and now I'm 18 buying a d250 in 2 days, I'm so excited. My d150 has 82,000 original miles and the d250 has 96,000.
I had a 89 short box power ram, lifted with 33s. I ended up getting rid of it like a idiot. The 360ci had some goodies on her and boy was it fun to drive! I should slap the shit out of myself
My first truck was a 93 w250 I miss it so much the way the doors sound when they shut and the buzzer for the key I miss that old dodge a lot but that’s a awesome truck and it’s cool to see a kid like I was driving a truck like I did
When I was 15 I almost had my hands on a 1 of 500 special edition Volkswagen I've wanted for years but my dad didn't want to go that far. Had the cash, just couldn't drive yet. Car probably worth 4x what I would have paid now lol. 4 years later I now own 3 other volkswagens and I'm looking at buying a truck to daily. Probably a first gen D150, build a 4 link for the rear and drop it a bit with maybe a mercedes diesel under the hood. 400hp and 600ft-lbs sounds good for a daily.
supppper sweet brother i have a 50k mile 2 tone gold 1987 150 LE my self not quite as nice i bought it 20 yrs ago and parked it. after driving home. this video is giving me tge motovation to dial it in. thank you. and may god bless you
We just bought our toddlers this truck! 318 motor ours works awesome but looks rough lol. Ours is manual though. 1990 (the year I was born). Our boys are eventually going to restore it with their Dad!
Nice song choice on truck intro 👍 came straight to this channel to tell everyone what Iv traded for today 1967 gmc k10 short bed with the original odd ball gmc grill still in it and the small back glass fleet side bed is real rough frames good and cab has 327 with turbo 350 she rolls and stops and turns over another project 🤘🇺🇸

That truck is nice and I'm more impressed with that young man.
I’m 17 and I’m a week I will be daily driving a 1980 k10 on 35in tires
Awesome!
Sweet ass Dodge. 90 is the last year for that particular style grill if i remember. That's why it looks older than a 90s era truck.
So cool!
congratulations, this is how a truck of those is maintained💯👍👍👍
That's one super tidy truck, great to see young fellas with a passion for classic trucks, great video once again👍

Impressive young man and great video. We all well remember our first wheels and this young man will always have this video to look back upon.
Tim McGrath that was my thought too. A big part of what we do is getting and keeping young folks engaged in these trucks
Beautyful truck..mine is a '91 D150..love it

Hey the prospector trim was available for 1989-1993 Dodge ram w250 trucks or only 79-89 trucks
Also I dunno why but this looks good compare to 91-93 front grill

You could still drop Cummins in there.. You don't have to haul nothing, nice truck. I think all old trucks are just tough as nails and cool as hell

Yes indeed!
Really fine truck, my grandpa’s 89 D150 had the same black and silver paint job.
I always like that square look on trucks not really interested in Trucks now unless they got wheel spacers.
