Loid was handling the situation perfectly. He was firm , nice , encouraging , patient , kind and supportive. Anya was slacking off trying to use her abilities to cheat instead of actually using the information her father so patiently taught her. She wouldn’t have failed if she actually used her brain instead of her powers. I absolutely love the way Loid is handling her. I have worked with children for more than 18 years now. Loid is on point, Yor is caring but she needs to learn how to be firm otherwise she’s not raising Anya, she’s just spoiling her and that’s not good for Anya. Telling her a 7/100 is good is lying to her. It’s not supportive. You teach your kids how handle their failures and move on to do better. You don’t pretend their failures are successes otherwise when people tell them the truth they will think they are being rude. These kids will be unbalanced , unmotivated and are more prone to depression. Tell your kids the truth like Loid telling Anya she did fail in community service and that it’s okay because everyone makes mistake and fail sometimes. That’s great parenting.
I like how Anya, even though is super cute, she acts like a real child and has her quirks, most animes put childs in pedetals of pure light so we forget children are sometimes little shits who don't wanna study and focus more on having fun than doing what they are supposed to do.
Her failing her vault, falling half a foot, and then immediately breaking down and crying is such a small kid thing lol
Fun fact: With the Stella Stars, it’s actually not required to wear it as a Pin on their uniform. Reason being is because once a student receives all 8 Stella stars, Imperial Scholars will receive a special type of uniform (Harry Potter style Cloak) indicating their achievement and status.

Hi! Unfortunately, suicide dogs known as “bomb dogs” were utilized in WW2 by the Russians. They used them to track German Tanks by listening to the engine sound & blow them up right under the heavy vehicle. However, they back fired by being scared & ran back towards their own team. Thereby, blowing their own tanks killing their own fellow servicemen in combat.

I’ve read about this. I don’t think it was always the fact that the dogs were scared, but the fact the Russians trained them with their own tanks. So, while in combat, the dogs would go to Russian tanks since that’s what they associated the bomb training with. Had they trained the dogs with German tanks, it would’ve been a good war strategy 💛
@@kimikolee7313 Hi! Oh, yeah! Forgot to mention it. Thanks for sharing! Even though it’s a sound strategy, I still can’t stand that. I’m a dog lover & it just feels super wrong for me. Hell, I’d disagree with other commanding officers who use this kind of tactic. Life does have its disappointments & that’s part reality whether we know it or not. No matter what job we’re in, there’s always pros & cons.
Speaking nothing but facts about how often kids drown. Also I read that by the time someone's drowning, it's probably already too late, you won't see them trashing around.... Scary.
Thrashing underwater is basically silent. If you're a small kid and don't know how to stay on the surface then it's super easy to not notice

Drownings are terrifying. They really are silent and by the time you spot someone drowning, their chances of surviving are really slim.

My little brother almost drowned at the beach when we were little. My much older cousin ran to grab him after I gave a shout, and in my selfish, little gremlin brain I remember being mildly upset that I couldn't be the one to save him.
Anya level of cuteness seems to elevate with each episode. I can’t wait for the reaction to seeing the dog. Giving the love you guys have animals, I’m sure is going to be sweet.

It sucks to say, but suicide bomb dogs were used in war within somewhat recent history. WW2 they would strap anti tank mines and vests of bombs to dogs and train them to run at enemy tanks and such. People would also stick grenades inside dead rats and throw them so when they would land people would see a dead rat and not realize it was actually a grenade about to blow up right next to them. There are tons of stories about some really crazy weapons and strategies that were both used and planned but never used

Sam turning the “bomb dogs” into a positive thing took me by surprise. Like, I know dogs do sniff out bombs but, I feel it was pretty clear these dogs were not cared for at all
I feel like the reason Anya failed at most tasks is because she lied about her age to get loid to adopt her and she’s supposed to act older
Combine that with the shifting orphanages and families and she really didn't have a chance to learn to adjust even if she WAS 6.
