    Perfect strategy. Survive first assaults, build refineries, form perimeter defenses, survive second assaults, repair damages, build more perimeter defense forces and defensive firepower structures :) What a fun game, great job!

    Seeing this game again makes me wonder why were certain features dropped in the transition from Sun to RA2?
    -you could de-power individual buildings instead of power being plain all or nothing
    -destructable terrain
    -the rocketeer predecessor could either walk of fly depending on distance issued
    -automatic gates for walls (for the rare few times you use walls)

    I'm mostly confused as to why your allies are not even doing anything, they built up a base and then nothing. Is the map designed to tell your allies to build up but it does nothing?
    Thats just very strange to me.

      None of the AI were on his side, plus they are pretty basic, this game is like 20 years old. They pretty much just attack and defend, being allied basically just removes the other AI from possible targets to attack, so they all send their attacks at the human.
      It looks like the AI were nearing resource starvation when they counterattack started, C&C skirmish AI is quite prone to just sending roughly the same numbers of the best squads it can form at the time, along with some raiding units like aircraft or stealth/underground units, leaving a small number of units back at the base to defend. So while the numbers attacking are a pain at the start against multiple AI and over time they can send higher tier units, once a solid defense is set to deal with the waves then it can usually be keep that up till AI run out of money, since they mostly just repeat the same attack groups till the rate of resources slows. Around 23:20 just before they start seriously clearing the first enemy base the tiberium fields near it are nearing exhaustion, most maps give all bases similar amount of resources at their base with a few in no mans land to fight for, so all the AI are probably just as low as the one we see being attacked. In the late game the shared tiberium fields the AI have safe access to will dwindle quickly, as all the AI players will start using it at a similar time. With the only other option is AI harvesters go to the common pool near the human player and get killed. Harvesters getting killed also has the effect of diverting what resources they do have to replacing harvesters, which also clogs their build queue from building land vehicles, and once any harvesters are going far enough out that they are getting killed then it is not long before that is the closest space all their harvesters will be going (likely to die).

      @@SnowmanTF2 Thanks for the informative answer! I was wondering cause the AI just wasn't reacting- not even sending units out of their own bases to attack. Weirdly enough I don't remember that happening in my own play time with Tiberian Sun and Firestorm (not that much, at least 50 - 100+ hours since childhood) which lead me to believe that it was a map specific trait. But I could have just remembered it incorrectly. :) Thanks again, and have a great day.

      Imo, Supreme Commander is not quite the same as Command and Conquer. At some point in the game it starts lagging, and I honestly have no idea. Me and some friends suspected it has something to do with the AI issuing commands to dead units. Sup Com also has a unit cap which is not really important since it can go up to 1k, but if you do that the game lags. Though, I agree the game is fun- it doesn't quite match the command and conquer experience.

      Yep. i really love how they did it in RA3, that the AI wont attack u if he lose. The Ai just go back and wait for more troops
