"We listen to women if they say the right thing. I was asked to speak on a panel about women, and they didn't listen"
"Yes we may think we listen to women just by putting them in positions, but we actually need to view women as different people who have different ideas."
This right here is golden! It's not talked about enough.

1:15:59 the majority of men do choose not to kill women. Like most mothers don't murder their children, but some do.

On David's point about men increasingly stepping up in domestic/caring roles: Boomer men famously changed no nappies and cooked no meals. They almost all had children and grandchildren. Their Gen X sons did do (some) nappies and housework and they had children but many will have no grandchildren. Etc. The incentives to step up are not obvious unless you think eliminating children is the goal.

You’re assuming a causal relationship here when you shouldn’t. The drop in birth rates can just as easily be attributed to the proliferation and normalization of pornography which led to more men expecting more harmful acts in sex that women didn’t want to partake in and that don’t lead to babies.

55:34 any examples of policies that favour men? Most unequal policies favour women thanks to DEI, which reduces agency.

Can you explain that comment ,Alfred.
As a working mother, i organised my work around my family responsobilities....classical mum putting the needs of others uo there. I finacially provided for my family also. Not to mention all the micr organising, and home running activities, hubby helped, but only when directed or asked to. He was brought up with a stay at home mum, so used to that situation. I have worked and paid my way through marriage and motherhood. So.......responsibility....am i free from that. !!! Think again.
      Mate. !

@jenniferplatts174 my response got deleted. I asked what women need to be freed from? I suggested in my original question that women have responsibilities, and asked whether that was what they wished to be freed from. There weren't that many words, hard to see how you failed to understand.

The 3rd speaker is a truly expert Feminist, pretending she cares about motherhood as she consistently undermines it. Who is blaming mothers for "everything"? Is the possibility of being told you're doing something wrong really being offered as a reason to not become a parent? Sounds to me like she is fomenting uncertainty and insecurity to drive young impressionable and insecure women away from being a parent.

Joshua, many feminists are critical of queer theory and find it incompatible with women's rights and gay rights movements. Queer theory claims that individuals choose their gender, rather than factually being their biological sex. In that case, they may need to have medical interventions to change their bodies because there is something wrong with them biologically which prevents them from being themselves. This is the opposite of the goals of traditional women's rights and gay rights. We assert that individuals may express themselves, and organize full lives for themselves and there is nothing wrong with their biology that prevents that. Gay marriage is then an important right, for example because marriage may be part of a full life, so we must have marriage rights. Feminists of this mind may be called "gender critical feminists". I don't find that term quite sufficient for me but I have got a better one yet.
It isn't in our human power to make a man into a woman, or a woman into a man. The lie that we can creates lives lived in highly medicalized bodies, with many harmful consequences, at great profit to pharmaceutical companies who are big money behind this queer theory movement.
Gender critical feminists also care about women's only spaces, like women's sports, women's locker rooms and spas, prisons, women's shelters and places we have, over generations, create and provide for each other for important reasons.
You may disagree with gender critical feminists, and that is your right. But it is an important perspective to be aware of and to consider.

@@alfreedfandangle Sorry Alfred, but putting '?' before responsibilities read you were questioning as in , what responsibilities. My comment was deleted, but my phone was flashing in the bar below that said,'english'. Emoji after emoji was jumping and flashing and a couple of indecipherable.words. It wouldnt stop!!! Very weird and to be honest, i thought someone had chucked a phone virus on me. But free from responsibilities???....well, it would be nice if some of the micro managing, like remembering who in the family has a birthday, sport dates, medical dental hair appointments, etc. There is so much of the behind the 'scenes' , that most blokes dont know exist. The mental gymnastics of being wife, mum, working women etc means we just dont shut our brains off. It can be exhausting. To have someone take some of the load is always appreciated. ...lighten the load and we all benefit. 😍
