- An Orchestral Tribute to METROID - Complete Game Soundtrack is a new style of video that I really enjoy making, featuring scenes from the game playing along the complete orchestral soundtrack, written by Japenese Composer Hirokazu Tanaka.
My goal is to let you go through the game in a short time to triggers old memories while hearing all the games great music:)

It always amazes me how so many people can remix these 8 bit tracks, and come out sounding so utterly alien compared to one another. The foreboding un ease of the music in the upgrade hallway / elevator rooms was what really hit me- AAaand then Kraid's lair hit, one of my favorite tracks from the series, and you did it justice! 8D

Even the intro has such atmosphere. I'm gonna need an extended (10 min) version of Kraid's lair, you MURDERED that song!

Having played this game to death as a kid I'm suffocating from sheer nostalgia right now. You nailed the experience of it into every track, without deviation from the original by a single note. Great stuff 👍

It is worth it! There are so many ways to interpret and remake videgame music. Everyone has a unique take on them
Just like I mentioned on Patreon, you well and truly did justice to the Chozos Temple Theme and Motherbrain's Lair.
All are very well made, especialy the Ridley lair music gave me the chills!

Metroid's soundtrack ranges from heroic themes to the strange loneliness of deep space.
True! It almost even sounds creepy at times. It has a very unique atmosphere

Believe it or not, I never played the orher metroid games, even though it is one of the best series from Nintendo. I'll check them out soon!!
@@vgmusicrevisited8668 Oh, they are pretty good and have some amazing pieces of music! Check the track I mentioned above, Surface of SR388. It is one of the best in the whole series, in my opinion. I wish Nintendo had your remixing skills when they remixed the song for the Samus Returns remake. I didn't like their remix since they didn't stick to the original feeling of the song like you are proficient at doing.

Man intro theme gave me a vibe for what huge rush it would give fans of this franchise if Metroid was televised as a series of episodes in a live action series. Finally letting us know who would portray Samus Aran. In early 2000s I would have chosen 7 of 9 from Star Trek Voyger a beautiful woman she is.
You already know.... in reality, this is THEE greatest videogame of all time... WAY too many firsts.
I consider Metriod THEE greatest videogame of all time... just too many firsts... in 1986 Mrs Pacman was the most popular game, them BOOM... everything modern gaming uses was invented within Metriod....
True!! It paved the way for many awesome games of the same genre.
That's right kids, this long & challenging game had no saves, no passwords - had to finish it all in one sitting.
Um, yeah it did have passwords.
Yeah there were passwords, you still started at the beginning but kept your items and progress. But now with emulators and savestates, these games are so much easier:)

Because I don't remember there being a password.
@@scsi_joeYeah, it had really long 24-character passwords made up of capitals, lowercase, and numbers. There was nothing more frustrating than losing a bunch of progress due to shitty handwriting
Oh, and if you typed in JUSTIN BAILEY as the password (and some other stuff I forgot), it gave you all the weapons and you played as Samus without her armor.
I had this on in the background while I was working and the sound of Mother Brain exploding at 11:44 actually made me jump lol

@@Djtrancescape yes I do:) I already have made megaman, rygar and soon castlevania III, I'm planning on doing zelda, bionic commando, goonies, legacy of the wizard, battle of olympus, megaman 2, and many others, it just takes a lot of time:)
