I will forever be angry that The Crew 2 didn't get more love, and had to live in the shadow of Forza Horizon. This game was really a vehicular playground on a continental scale, and I keep coming across more and more touches of how they tried to make it realistic. I loved it, and I am still playing it.
With forza the map is WAY smaller so they have more room for graphic overhaul. With the crew 2 the vast map If they made every part of this map realistic it would only work on PC and ubisoft wants to release games on console to maximize money.

It would for sure take much more memory. The Crew 2 at start had tons of unused potential and that killed it. We need solid The Crew 3 with absolutely tons of stuff to do that would keep us interested

When it works, it's one of the most beautiful games on here on the market! But when it dose not (75% of the time), yea it still looks unfinished sadly. I will blame Always online for some drawbacks of the graphics. Even when I max out this game on PC it still looks ugly sometimes, Thanks Ubisoft.

Would be realy cool if they added a map expansion when hobbies come to the crew, and a bit better lightning. I think people have just favourised forza over the crew because of the details and lightning. But I find the crew 2 as a much better game overall. Great video btw

I just downloaded Crew 2. It’s pretty fun. I just wish they would make the exact replicas of the cities. And maybe add more cities like Atlanta, Oakland, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, Memphis, Orlando, Houston, Baltimore, Boston, Kansas City, and OKC
its a nice concept but heres a thing, it is impossible to add more city and such, because the game engine is quite limited and will have more storage spaces due from the assets and rendering
With which car do u started the game? With the Mustang or the Miata? I started with the Miata. Maybe not the best of these two but I just like it. I recommend u to buy all the free start vehicles. Like the free rally raid truck. And do more old races to pick slowly some loot and u can upgrade your car.* When you don't have enough space in ur inventory to pick all the loot, just scrap the weaker cards and after you will have some money I recommend u to buy as a drift car the Mazda RX7. this makes me wish that I played this game when it came out. But I listened to all the people who hated it and agreed. Now, I regret it because I downloaded it last year and now just last week I started playing it and boy is it ever fun. The graphics are amazing. Even though it can’t be fully dramatic because on how huge the map is which is understandable. But the problem I have is that San Diego isn’t even included at all when it’s one of the most popular cities in SoCal. And temecula is definitely not in the right spot. It’s in between mountains. Not on the ocean. But other than that, its a game and can’t be possible to be accurate. But I love it. It keeps me busy with the map being so huge. I absolutely love it. There’s so much to do and so much to see!

I admit. The Crew 2 is underrated. But they need to fix model textures, lighting and car sounds...... and physics. I dont wanna feel like somebody skydiving straight down when i drive off a cliff
If we ever get a third installment of the game, I really hope we get more details. The base is there but places like Seattle just look empty. And it’s just sad that most of Florida is essentially not there. How can you not put Orlando in the game?!

It looks really close to it. My knowledge about St. Louis before The Crew was zero. However, with the help of those landmark quests, I definitely learned a lot about that city. And they keep saying that video games can't learn you anything.

I just brought this game. This game is awesome, developer still update the game in 2020 making it alive. You can design and upgrade performance using game credits after every race to upgrade your car, boat, air plane, truck. The game is worth it too in one game you buy actually 4 games in mode car, boat, air plane, monster truck racing games. The World is extremely huge like they I plan the whole USA country into it so you can flying around the whole America. 2020, It still many players in the world playing online PvP running around, and meet your new Crews or friends. Good graphic, good environment, overall I found it pretty good, would give it rate 9/10. Best race game I ever had!

Should have done this comparison with the Crew 1 instead. Crew 2’s map is heavily downgraded and removed a lot of stuff quality wise compared to the first game.

These are the things that should have been Embedded into The crew 2 to improve it: - Higher amounts of traffic (especially in city’s) - Indicators - Radio stations - Improved engine sounds - Ability to not be wearing gloves when driving the car. - Variable Speed limits that are shown on all roads (that traffic sticks to) - Better car interiors - More hills and bends It’s shame they didn’t put more time into this game. It would have been amazing if it consisted of the same level of detail and realism as Test drive unlimited 2. (I find this game too Arcady and not realistic enough) Test drive unlimited 2 is better even though it’s much older. This shows how detail is important in games.

Yeah. I have been playing this game for almost 2 years and I have spent least time there. That city has no vibe at all. Compare it with Driver SF and you can easily see why. A lot of details have been omitted.

The World is extremely huge like they I plan the whole USA country into it so you can flying around the whole America. 2020, It still many players in the world playing online PvP running around, and meet your new Crews or friends. Good graphic, good environment, overall I found it pretty good, would give it rate 9/10. Best race game I ever had!

As a non-American, I see the game's landmarks in awe but now that I know what to compare it to, it just looks depressingly small now, sadly lol
I know that for a game with a map this big already, it really couldn't be any bigger without wrecking the total file size and another 5-10 years to develop, but it is a great attempt overall.

Should have done this comparison with the Crew 1 instead. Crew 2’s map is heavily downgraded and removed a lot of stuff quality wise compared to the first game.

I wish rockstar took the gameplay aspect of rd2 and combined that with the crew open world type of maps and mixed it kinda like the sims for gta 6! Drop like 2/3 major places for each state and then throughout the year as the game grows do dlc for new cities and things of that nature that game would never die have it like the mods on pc and that game would be sooo rich a man can only dream

These are the things that should have been Embedded into The crew 2 to improve it:
- Higher amounts of traffic (especially in city’s)
- Indicators
- Radio stations
- Improved engine sounds
- Ability to not be wearing gloves when driving the car.
- Variable Speed limits that are shown on all roads (that traffic sticks to)
- Better car interiors
- More hills and bends
It’s shame they didn’t put more time into this game. It would have been amazing if it consisted of the same level of detail and realism as Test drive unlimited 2. (I find this game too Arcady and not realistic enough)
Test drive unlimited 2 is better even though it’s much older. This shows how detail is important in games.

Yeah. I have been playing this game for almost 2 years and I have spent least time there. That city has no vibe at all. Compare it with Driver SF and you can easily see why. A lot of details have been omitted.
@@TireSlayer Surprisingly, I haven't played Driver SF. I still have yet to try that out. The only time I'll go to SF in The Crew 2 is if I wanna see the Golden Gate Bridge.
