@@ribhafatima7960 Hello, well, for me the key factor for writing and speaking section is to practice a lot. Not only in this channel but others such as TOEFL prep you can access a lot of exercises and even examples of responses for those exercises. When it comes to the speaking section, don't forget to record your own voice, try to identify your mistakes. I always practice speaking for at least 15 minutes a day, to get used to the exercises, and preparing my template as well etc. For the writing section, don't forget to have your template too, and use tools such as grammarly for vocabulary and grammar. Don't forget to look for videos about those sections as well, Anastasia has good ones! Overall, the key here is to practice a lot, and try to recognize your mistakes. Then start to compare your answers with the responses they provide in the videos. One more thing, don't forget to use "test ready" resources from the TOEFL website, they are really useful! Good luck with your preparation :)
Dear Louden, Wow, congratulations on scoring 110! 🎉 I’m so thrilled to hear about your success, and it truly means the world to me that my videos could help you along the way. Thank you so much for your kind words. Wishing you all the best in your future endeavors! :)
Hi . I'd like to correct the fact that a Skeuomorph is a replica of an object of similar design but made from different material , as the example give in the lecture of a cauldron made from bronze originally , then the same was made from ceramic afterwards. Thus I believe option B is the correct answer.
I had the same feeling. The lecturer specifically mentioned the bronze Dutch cauldron but which was made with ceramics. Thus, the correct answer would be made from different material
I only made 4 mistakes out of all the lecture and conversation questions. but in my previous toefl ibt examination I got only 21. I think I have to maintain my stability and calmness there too. and of course improve my vocabulary skill. thanks for the video.
I practiced the first conversation and lecture at late night when I was tired, and just I ended up with disappointment with the result. But now, early morning, I just practiced the rest, I was almost the Winner 🏆 😊 I mostly struggled with examples the professor made with strange words and objects' names.
Hey, sorry for the interruption. I am a 24-year-old student and I was selected for the Global Exchange Program through Erasmus to study at a University in Japan. To be honest, it feels like a dream come true. However, there's an issue: the university requires a minimum score of 79 on the TOEFL, and I recently took the test and scored 74 (11 in reading, 19 in listening, 23 in speaking, and 21 in writing). I would like to know if there are any ways to improve my score to meet the minimum requirement of 79. The challenges I faced in the reading section were mainly related to 1) time management, 2) vocabulary, and 3) the similarity between answer choices. The most difficult part was the questions where I had to put sentences in the correct order or identify where a specific text fits best in a paragraph. I’ve already started watching TH-cam videos to improve my score, but I’m scared of failing again and having to pay the same amount for the third time without knowing if I’ll score better or worse than before. Thank you for your help.
I got all the answers correct(WINNER!) without making any notes. So, I just wanted to know that will I able to maintain the same score on the test day or is it really necessary to make notes. I'd say that I am horrible at making notes so could make a video on tips to make notes or just send the link of the video if you already made one. thanks
23/28. In conversation 1, I made silly mistakes in q3,q4. In lecture 1,2,all the answers are right. In conversation 2, I didn't remember the answer of q2. In lecture 3, I made 2 mistakes (Q4,Q5) But I think the actual answer of q5 is b. So 23/28 or 24/28
Hey Anastasia, the test was good, scored 24/28! and thanks for providing Ans right away. my que is, in pasaage2 Q2 we had to pick 3 options, of which i got 2 correct and one wrong, so do I get one point for it or is it a staight 0!?
Hi Anastasia, thanks for the video, it's a great practice. Is English your first language? It sounds as if you're forcing an American accent so I was curious.
I have conducted this test without any notes just by relying on my memory and I got 24/28... Is it good enough for me to go for a test now as my required score for the test is 90.
thank u for the video! I wanted to ask how close is the difficulty of this practice to the real toefl listening? I scored 25/30 (23/28) and I've never scored smth like this before! so i am kinda surprised
How does the timer on the screen looks like in the listening section in the real test? When does it start? What time does it show when starts? when stop? how many parts? ...
U should probably not intervene in middle and disrupt the flow and reveal the answers after every q may b in the end or in description...this video doesn't help at all..try to simulate exam wat as much as posbl
You can take the free practice test on the ETS website. You can find it here th-cam.com/video/ZIhDtebovU4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=WBaounYZsdkIgLr5. The audio on test day will be exactly the same. 👍
Marina Mogilko ??? Are you talking about that self-entitled who doesn't know the simplest grammar rules, confuses idioms and makes pronunciation mistakes and teaches false things to make money to desperate people who are like drowning ones will clutch at a straw to learn English? I don't know you. I was looking for something about TOEFL vocabulary i and I came across your video but after hearing Marina Mogilko, NO WAY JOSE !!! I don't mind non-native English speakers teachers who know English perfectly, teaching it but most of the ones on TH-cam are frauds and charlatans who teach wrong things to desperate people. Anyway, let me ask you something, if you are so keen on teaching a language, why don't you teach your native language instead of English ? Is it because it's not easy to make money that way?
Hey guys!
The correct answer to Q5 in Lecture 3 is B, at 35:35. Sorry for the inconvenience.
This made me a winner
