A couple days after this was posted, I was at a friend's house with my dobro, and said, "look what Abbie Gardner taught me", and played the lick. It is kind of addicting.
In the last few days, though, I learned her song, I Can't Believe. Sadly, it is still relevant.

Love it! I’m just getting back to the dobro after 6 years of nothing but pedal steel and I gotta say, SO MUCH DIFFERENT!!!
I’ll get back to not totally awful soon though. 😊
Love your videos thanks for putting them out.

Thank you thank you thank you! That is going to save me a little hunt and peck time. As for bonus points, a tip for all players out there, practice blindfolded. It will improve your playing overtime

Nice job Have you done any lessons on playing minor chords on GBDgbd?

Just one, called When it’s All Wrong, and it was more of a performance than a lesson. I’ll add it to my list

It seems to me to be standard dobro open G, GBDGBD.

The only dumb questions are the ones you don't ask, Andy! :) So, David G is right. I'm in open G tuning and my top (highest) open string is a D... count up 5 half steps (or frets) and you have that starting note on G. The key of the song is C. Happy sliding!
