Welcome to the Garden Of Suds, in this video we get creative. After getting handed 5 papayas, I got the idea to make this papaya puree cold process soap. The nice orange color of the papaya is amazing and gives the soap a lite orange color. We used everything from the papaya except the rind. The seeds in the soap make this a nice a 100 percent papaya soap. As soon as I removed the soap from the mold our little hand model snatched up the soap and could not stop washing her hands. She loved the fragrance and the feel of the soap plus the seeds adds an exfoliating effect in this soap.

Doesnt natural fruit n veggies added to soap reduce the life of the soap?

Hello Shamaila first I would like to say thank you for watching my video and being a loyal subscriber. To answer your question yes and no. If you add the puree directly to the soap then yes the puree will reduce the life of the soap. But if you add the puree instead of water to the lye, the lye basically kills off most of the nutrients in the puree. After that the soap will have its full life ahead of scrubbing and cleaning.
