@@redblade5556 Wrong, it is shown that she is eager to speak to Guts again - but the sight of him sparks her PTSD. So while Casca still loves Guts with all her heart, she cannot look at him without having a nervous breakdown.

And that hex is the trauma. Yes it is clear that she wants to speak to Guts again, yes even seeing it she still doesn't remember the whole thing. So it is a hex, not only a mere trauma. Before seeing Guts and even after, she doesn't actually remember. Only her subconscious does, and that is why the hex is there. Her heart is her subconscious (remember the dream sequence?) and that black vine thingy? So her trauma is akin, yet very different to PTSD, while having the property of a PTSD. Might actually just be the instinct for self-preservation also kicking in.
With the mix of voices, it was far to lovely to be a song...

Listened to this before sleeping. Here's my written account of the following dream:
Crimson sun, setting with souls not long departed. Blood glimmers on every sickle, sword and spear, axes torn into weak flesh. In the midst this gore, there the eyes were allured to this land's invader and ruiner, destroyer and killer - the Lioness, heels clanking and clashing on the castle grounds, baring her fangs in her righteous hand, her impression left in every scraping step. In the other, she held a hold to the Tiara of the Dragon. At the greatest peak on this rubbled, slabbed monument. her vicious steel took a bow, the ruby eyes closing over as she pulled back the rage that helmet had captured. There, her knight took the crown carefully from her hands, adorning it onto her head, drawing a seal just under. They danced and prowled about some more, slicing for fun, a glorified game. Slaughtering Kingdoms with their love, land wide fame.
Currently being paid in experience, expect big things from me!

Once a Falcon strutting its white snowy feathers soared above the skies of Midland until its eye caught a peculiar creature flying near the surface unable to soar high as the former, a black crow that struggled to stay afloat in the air due to an injury it could not heal from. Curious, the Falcon befriended the Crow and offered to help it soar higher in the skies alongside itself, so that it may take the beautiful splendor of Midland as well. However, one day the Falcon of Light was captured by a madman who clipped its wings and forced it to be grounded forever. The Crow, being a loyal friend, helped its companion to fly once again but the efforts were in vain, the Falcon could not fly anymore not even a little. It wept silently for it could not form any tears, fortunately, a witch of the woods heard its desperate plea and offered her assistance for a fair price. The Witch would grant the Falcon new wings but it must sacrifice that which it held dear, and so it was the Falcon that betrayed the Crow and cast it into a pit of fire and brimstone knowing the Crow couldn't fly fast enough to escape. The smoke of the fire granted the Falcon a new pair of flaming wings and it soared higher into the sky than ever before, but at the same time, another bird emerged from the fiery pits, one with ashen wings and flaming eyes. Burned by the embers of the pits, its wings blistered and tainted beyond ascension, Ash Crow vowed vengeance against the Falcon of Light, that one day it will seek out the soaring beacon in the skies of Midland and burn it to the ground and any bird that dared to oppose it would suffer the same fate. Ash Crow, born in wrath with no hope, Ash Crow once a benevolent bird now a black beast of darkness that turned its mercy into a flaming arrow.
