- A l'époque de Brejnev, Andrei Filipov était le plus grand chef d'orchestre d'Union soviétique et dirigeait le célèbre Orchestre du Bolchoï. Mais après avoir refusé de se séparer de ses musiciens juifs, dont son meilleur ami Sacha, il a été licencié en pleine gloire.
Trente ans plus tard, il travaille toujours au Bolchoï mais comme homme de ménage. Un soir, alors qu'Andrei est resté très tard pour astiquer le bureau du maître des lieux, il tombe sur un fax adressé à la direction du Bolchoï : il s'agit d'une invitation du Théâtre du Châtelet conviant l'orchestre officiel à venir jouer à Paris. Soudain, Andrei a une idée de folie : pourquoi ne pas réunir ses anciens copains musiciens, qui vivent aujourd'hui de petits boulots, et les emmener à Paris, en les faisant passer pour le Bolchoï ? L'occasion tant attendue de prendre enfin leur revanche ...

Nous faire passer deux heures assis devant un film qui parle de musique classique sans une minute de perdue et sans qu'on s'en aperçoive c'est un chef d'oeuvre !!!
Le concerto final est d'une rare intensité. Le jeux des caméras, des comédiens, le tout porté par la musique d'un Grand... Wow, wow, je dis wow, j'étais scotché à mon fauteuil. Même s'il y a à redire sur ce film, au moins la fin le signe élégamment et puissamment !!
I watched the movie just yesterday and am completely in love. The most fascinating thing is - knowing the history of Soviet regime - that the story of Ann-Marie could really be true. Great actors, great story, great music. Can't wait for the DVD in Germany.
For all that cannot be expressed there is music, and Tchaikovsky is one of the greatest composers of all time .
By god, the movie is extraordinary. I recomend it to all balcanic people and other that are at least curious about the baltics, cause we are crazy and true , we are always late, but when we do something it really does turn out good in the end .
For Radu Mihailescu : Felicitari! this is a movie that excedeed my expectations!

Ils nous ont servit ce film doublé! Ils ont doublé toute la partie russe, je suis dégouté!!!!!
Mais j'ai adoré, pourtant la salle n'était pas de très bon niveau (mais je suis un audiophile très exigeant) mais je n'ai pu retenir mes larmes.
J'ai des doutes quand au côté russe qui me parait excessivement pauvre, mais ça reste un très beau film, magnifique!

J'au vu ce film au Festival de Rome, en octobre 2009.
C'est uin très beau film et il sera dans les cinémas italiens en février 2010.
Le monteur du film est Ludo Troch, un prof de chez nous a Sint Lukas a Bruxelles, il vient de gagner un César, cool.
J,ai vraiment envie de voir ce film. J'adore Mélanie Laurent elle est fantastique!

Un très beau film
De l'humour, des scènes fortes en émotion, une bonne interprétation de Mélanie Laurent ainsi que des acteurs russes. Miou-miou un peu décevante.Bien réalisé .

Great movie, great feeling. But still, I don't agree with the Russian image that it's promoting. I'm sure the Russians are not so far behind technology, manners or everythning that makes up modern society. All in all, the actors are great, the music is divine, and the director ( român de altfel :) has a great vision about art and the artist's need for perfection! An European movie that has met my expectations, so...Enjoy!

J'ai bcp aimé ce film. Les clichés - oui, et meme contre les Francais, sauf que c'était pas le sujet. Et c'est ca l'idée - prendre les clichés les plus répandus et faire une COMEDIE.

Really nice film, although unfortunately it has been dubbed really badly in italian. The parts in russian have been dubbed in italian with fake russian accent. Really offensive and disturbing. We italian people should form a class action against movie dubbers.
