Lets be honest, the immortal is badass
I love how the soundtrack goes from dark and mysterious in wave 3 to * loads shotgun with malicious intent * in wave 4.
It makes great sense. All 3 waves you were just running away and collecting barely enough mirium to pass further. Phase 4 comes and now is your chance to have your revenge.

This mode was truly awesome, and I'm shocked that people aren't talking about it enough. It's been forever since I got to have a good boss fight where it didn't just feel like it was another obstacle. Fighting the Immortal was both terrifying and thrilling, because it could easily wipe the floor with you and your team if you weren't working together, but killing it meant getting rewards and bragging rights. Don't even get me started on just the psychological aspect of fighting something that looks like a tank out of Silent Hill.
During the 2020 event it also made an appearance, but you couldn't fight it. All you could do was run, and pray that you had a good route where it wouldn't catch you...
While I have many negative things to say about Wargaming, I truly have to give them props for doing an incredible job on the Mirny: Hope event this year. It's a step in the right direction.
About the immortal coming out of silent hill
The character director of silent hill helped wg with creating this mode

Wish the balance team was as badass as the music squad. Kickass music, keep it up. Should have a link to all of the Halloween/event tracks for sale as an album. I would buy that over any prem tank
My friends always ask my why I continue to play world of tanks. My answer is always the same, balance or not, things like these really convince me that wargaming truly loves their big ol' tank game. That's enough reason to keep me playing.
The music is just awesome as the detail. Gotta love it when this is what quality is.
The only problem is they're 150% copying the Doom soundtrack with this, even though it's absolutely sick
@@liquidv2305 Doom copied a ton of metal bands that existed prior to Doom 2016. Doom did not invent this style of music. Even Doom 1 from the 90's was basically covers of existing metal songs.

I'll take my guess that now we can kill the boss maybe on final stage by shooting its glowing spots. If you pay attention you can also see new playable tanks such as IS-3-II and M46 Patton. Awesome event!

This was the best thing about fighting El Inmortal and with a lot of tension

I dont know what Mirny means but a like the music....
It is a name of Russian diamond mining town IRL and - fictional and much smaller - oil-drilling town in World of Tanks.
Mirny-13 was last-year halloween event in oil-drilling ghost town turned into hellscape by an anomalous substance - and since the community recognizes the non-anomalous version functioning as random map on day-to-day basis as "Ghost Town" and barely anybody knows about diamond mining town, mentioning "Mirny" makes everyone think about the halloween event or the fictional town where it takes place.

Looks like is 3-2 So I would say we can have some camo for it this year
I guess it will be unlockable later on or for gold for impatient.
So far use Cerberus, it's versatile - can ram, can ding, can move fast, can kill hedgehogs quickly.

I prefer the old one, it's less s*** as this one WG. If it wasn't wrote Mirny, i couldn't reconise it.
They completely changed style.
V1 is much less aggressive and more mystical.
I kinda prefer the old one since I could listen to it all day long, but this one is a banger too, resonating with power and fearlessness.
