I see you don't use the "Mike dies first AU" I do, but a little bit different. in mine his mom is extremely abus!ve and William is the kind, and sweet one. and Mrs. Afton k!lls mike by stuffing him into the Lolbit suit (which in my AU is a prototype of Ft. Foxy) and it's a springlock suit so he gets springlocked, and by this time Liz was on her way, and Mike was only 5 but he had his friends which were actually the funtimers, and his older brother Terrance was one of the tormentors. So Liz didn't know Mike existed and William never told her bc it brought up too many painful memories.
