It's amazing they do a drill without having people lined up and all squished together. Amanda's dance and laughing are so contagious and 100% contagious as well as Chris's puns. This cruise ship looks really fun filled. I haven't been on a cruise in years and after watching this video, this is making me want to go on a future cruise. Amanda, you are a wonderful mother and you raise Miles to be the most wonderful person in this world. Amanda-- you're a great mom! I TOTALLY get it. I'm a homeschooling momma of 2 boys and we are always together. We do life together and I love it! But a break with grandparent time is wonderful-- Miles will treasure that time and you both can celebrate the marriage the Lord has blessed you with. It's a good thing, but missing your best little buddy, completely get ir.

Amanda you are a great mother! I am a mother to two children. Yes, I understand the guilt but I can promise you your little one is having a great time. Remember that eventually down the road your little one is going to grow up and leave the nest. Keep this special time with your spouse and learn to love it because you don’t want to get to the point where they’re leaving the house and all the sudden you’re like oh I am more than just a mom.

Married 25 yrs. 4 kids. It is always hard to leave them. "What if they need me?". But it is really important to spend time with just your spouse. It is a different relationship without the kids around.
We didn't get a 1v1 until about 10 yrs and I remember looking at my spouse thinking " oh yeah, I like hanging out with you." I was so wrapped up the the business of family, that sometimes that gets lost.
We went on the Panorama and had the same exact thoughts on the grapes. Jean is sitting here cry laughing at your lines. Walk in every night and say, “Uh? What? No! Well, okay.”
Amanda, you are a PHENOMENAL MOM!!! Don’t ever think otherwise. 😄😄👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 My wife and I can absolutely relate to the parent guilt! We’re parents to a wonderful fur baby cat, and when we took an Airbnb weekend trip for a mental health break, we were wrought with guilt! It was so bad. We were so close to going back home to our baby all alone, but it was just 2 nights. On the first night, we were just watching our cameras at home. Of course, our cat was having the time of her life napping away! Parents need their own vacation and time alone to continue dating and flourishing as a couple! Don’t ever forget it. Thank you both for ALL of the positivity. Your videos truly help me get through some difficult and dark times I’ve been going through. Sending you both much love. 🥹♥️

Amanda I understand just where you are coming from. When our kids were young I would look forward to our get aways as a couple but once we were on it all I would say is I wish the kids were here. However, those times with just the two of you are important. Remember someday it will return to being just the two of you again. It’s important you keep in touch with that dynamic.

No need to be guilty for not having Miles. It just means you are a good parent. When my kids where younger and we would leave them behind with grandma, we would always talk about them and find everything they would like. Not as much now that they are older but for sure when they were younger. Amanda you and Chris are great parents.

It's a ship. Quick way to remember: You can put a boat on a ship but you can't put a ship on a boat. Technically all ships are boats but not all boats are ships so ship is the more accurate name for your cruise vessel.

This video was perfect timing! My husband and I are cruising on The Miracle in October for 5 nights for our 40th birthdays. We are leaving our 2 kids home. I totally get the mom guilt, I almost switched our reservation a few times to bring them. But we are going to leave them home for fun with family and enjoy a little us time. Longest time leaving them ever (in 10 years).

Careful with the Koof: you catch something and france trip is out or delayed. We're fine. Get a CupFone or better holder. Prices lower means part of it is banked back. Even with swanky suite. We did Alaska Inside passage but ages ago.
Don't feel guilty! I know many many parents. When their kids are young they feel guilty doing anything without them, but as their kids get older they realize how unnecessary that was. The kids could care less. Did you ever care about parents going on a trip and leaving you with fun babysitters or grandparents? It's actually good for them and good for your relationship to have some time apart. You don't want the first time they are away from you for an extended period of time to be college! I legit know people that's true for. He's happy. You're happy. Enjoy!
Parent guilt is totally normal. We have the same issue when we do a trip by ourselves. It is OK to take time for yourselves! We are doing the same trip after 4 days in Disneyland in June!!

You are a fantastic mom ! I’m a mom to a toddler and I went on a four night cruise in February. I felt guilt for a little but then mostly I thought she is probably having a better time then if I was with her haha 🤣🤣 ps Amanda here . That’s my name too. Enjoy you deserve it. I wish I could the separation guilt will go away. Our boys are 26 and 21. We are retired, criss-crossing the USA by trailer 2 months per year (two yrs so far) and constantly wish they could be with us.
