Great to see a new Dane vid. The editing for the zooms seems very abrupt and I think I prefer the earlier editing where instead of zooms, putting up the respective cards on screen for a bit.
I had a lot of fun watching you play creative standard decks. I wonder if the 3 mana spell where you pick a card from their hand and deck would be almost as good as tony bec a lot of times they’re just sitting on their siff

I played standard only for couple months until I met with Dane. It has been 6-7 years since my last game in standard and to be honest right now, the brightness of the card library for standard cards hurts my eyes.
Hmm Cleric seems very important (the 1 mana 1/3), so you probably hard mulligan for him and other cards to help. So keep him and Creation Protocol. If you already have him in hand, probably prioritize Funnel Cakes and Fan Club maybe.
@@popeneiad7968I don’t think you want clergy in hand because you want to get multiples of it through protocol, but yea I think if not against super aggro decks you’d want to hard mulligan for protocol

@@cheekibreeki6255 Because Tony was BUSTED (in terms of anti-fun to play against) in both randoms _and_ standard. In randoms it was miracle Druid emptying their deck, switching their empty deck with yours and then killing you with fatigue dmg. I'm not sure which Deck was the problem in standard, but as far as I heard, it was something equally toxic. Which is why Tony HAD to get nerfed to the ground. (Which is a shame, because Tony was very unique and interesting. Oh well)
@@Legendendear cant say I ever played against a single tony deck in D1 standard. Last season. That's tuff about druid but I think the easier way to fix it would be to flay the skin off whatever HS dev keeps pushing mill decks infront of his family.
