If I could describe solo to Rose in one word, what would that word be?! Magic. Solo Rose for me is the magic of the voice and the heartfelt text. It's normal that you guys aren't completely satisfied with Rose's solo. Because how many people there are so many opinions. So thank you so much for your reaction!!! Jisoo was on the swing in Stay and she hates heights, Rosé however loves them so not surprised there are swings, her sitting on the ledge or just floating on wires. And her affinity with the ground though, we called her Floorsé because she slides on them, lies on them and now dancing lying down. There is a reason why she choose these song as a title song 😝
The thing I REALLY dig about this video is that it echoes and references all the other Blackpink videos. You mentioned Stay, but the exploding statue from KTL (a small version) is in there, the broken rock wall from HYLT, the chandeliers from DDU-DU, the Rosè on the mirror from AIIYL... ALL the videos have a reference in there.
And the lyrics talking about "I just drove by your house" thinking about "you and I" are taking to her past self, which you get to see with her at the piano taking to her past self. The "Roseanne" in the mirror...
I LOVE this video for its subtlety, rather than spectacle. And it's just jam packed with hidden messages that I keep finding more of every time I watch it.

Guys the whole music video tells a story from start to finish(Rose is talking about her past self in the m/v she is saying that she misses who she used to be and that fame isnt everything it is cracked up to be. for example she goes back to her childhood home in one scene and her current self smiles down at her past self whose is playing the paino to symbolism how she misses those days where music brought her so much joy and was so simple. literally every scene is filled with so much hidden meaning i think you should definitely rewatch it with that in mind and see what you discover every time i watch it i see something different anyway great reaction!

I hope to see a reaction to Rose's "Gone". This video, it took me a minute, They were blowing up/burning all the fancy stuff (Limo's, Chandelier's), and she's wearing bright pink. Then she went back to see young Rose, in her hole in the wall with a mattress, who's wearing white. Then they come together to make light pink rose who has embraced both which is why when she floats she doesn't go very high. the swinging in stay was done by Jisoo. lol

Ambitious talks my thing. I'm agree with everything he said rn this song is not gave me Rose song vibe it's just a good production song with great lyric but beat so up and aboving lyrics. This song instrumental version is on the album and will be more good I can't wait that version cause I can hear much more Rose voice and that way more good to me.
Btw she has another song on the Album it's called GONE I think you can react that too it's so good for my opinion you can feel every lyric on that song. it's give me a bit upgraded You Never Know vibe but has difftrent story behind.

I really felt it was just another pop song. I understand people saying the lyrics are very personal and I respect that. I just found it like any other pop song. I mean, we already knew the videography of BP is generally gorgeous, so the visuals were a given. I would have expected a solo debut to be more... impactful, I guess? Idk.

Actually there is another song in her album it's called GONE and that song really impactful I loved it and I'm pretty sure On the Ground instrumental version sick too cause lyrics really great just that upbeat can not give permisson Rose to shine that's why this song feels like another pop song.
I agree. The message is cute and the song is relatively catchy but overall safe and not really all that interesting. I feel like aside from a few songs, I’ve felt this way about all of BP’s releases. YG could do so much more for them.
This is basically what I'm trying to say. I'm just afraid that people are gonna be mad at me. The song could not grab me at all. Same goes to Jennie's Solo. Sounds generic to me maybe because I'm expecting too much. Just my opinion. ^^

I was very excited for your reaction to this, but boy was I disappointed. Not because of your opinion, but because it seemed that you were zero interested even before the video started, especially Ace. This MV had actually way less "random" scenes than 99.9% of the MVs you react to and like, so I really don't get this comment. IDK something was off about this reaction, Rosé deserved a better reaction for her very anticipated solo debut.
With all due respect...how do you know I was “zero interested” in this release??? Do you know how I was feeling at the moment? Not trying to be rude but I am not sure that I understand your assessment of my mood. And I apologize if this reaction left you disappointed...but remember...we give honest reactions. And just because I may have not reacted the way you expected doesn’t mean “something was off” about this reaction. We all have different tastes. Everything doesn’t hit me the same way. We listen to A LOT of music. I get that in other reactions of ours, I may seem more “interested” before checking a video out. But the one time I don’t seem that way...something is off??? This is a “reaction” which means that it is my first time watching and listening. Maybe I didn’t elaborate clearly on my “random scenes” comment and for that I am truly sorry. It’s just that in my opinion the scenes in this visual did not seem to match with what I was hearing. Also, how do you know if I haven’t went back and checked it out afterwards? Maybe my opinion has changed. Once again, I am not trying to sound rude but I just want to make sure that we still understand the meaning of “reactions”.

Please give a systematic explanation of every scene in this MV, compared to 99.9% of the other MVs on this channel - all ~2,400 of them. I look forward to seeing your thorough, scientific analysis and breakdown of how every scene was meaningful and not just showing her being pretty.
Not everyone should give a hype reaction. Ya'll fans need to stop with this mess of people running around the building, throwing hands in the air and jumping up and down as the typical reaction. Half of the times those reactions are fake just to get people to stay with them and they probably don't care about your favs. At least their reaction was genuine and they love the song. That's all that matters. Also it doesn't matter if kpop videos have random scenes in it or not just enjoy it if you like it or move on if you don't. They spent their money on the set and camera just like anyone else in this industry. Bye
