When their alleged leader, a skilled and charismatic outlaw named Kirksey Nix, was sentenced to life in prison, the group was thought to be extinct. But, 15 years later, the brutal assasination of a sitting judge and a mayoral candidate forced authorities to confront a disturbing reality: the Dixie Mafia was not done yet.
