I'm going to be extremely honest here: I'm dangerously obsessed with Kai Satou. It all started back when Nankidai released the fateful video game "Your Turn To Die -Death Game By Majority-", and it has only gotten worse, oh ho ho, SO much worse, since then. But it didn't start that way, in fact it most likely started much like your experience. I enjoyed the game thoroughly and went on with my day. But that would be the last truly normal day of my life. The signs started cropping up. I started subconciously saying "This is... resistance. Our lives toyed with to our enemy's whims, we are unable to save even a single person... As we die off, this is... my feeble... resistance. But it is one large step... toward counterattack...! It is a step I was able to take... because you bought me time. It is surely... not futile. I entrust them to you...! Our regrets...!! Our hopes...!! I... am satisfied." after I got hit in video games. I compulsively would stare at pictures of Kai Satou, even downloading them. But it was not enough. I started cooking eggs every day. In every game where my character was customizable, I felt compelled to turn myself into Kai Satou. I changed my desktop picture and all my application icons to images of Kai Satou. Every passing day--every minute that went by!--I felt my obsession dig itself deeper. Frying Pans and Kitchen Knives started appearing all over my house. A Laptop and an Eggs Benedict also appeared in my Secret Room. There were mysterious charges to my card that I didn't remember making. But that leaves me with but one question--where is Kai? It makes me violently angry, I feel cheated--does he care not for the union of minds? Or perhaps he looks over me, as some kind of benign watcher? I cannot say. Only Kai can. Kai has all the answers now. I am currently tracking him down. When I was first self-aware enough to realize my descent, I blamed it on demons, or some other external force. I see now that it is only myself. I am the demon. I have now finally tracked down Kai. I have no plan but to fly to him, and beg him to let me live with him forever.
