Hope you all enjoyed this video! Armour Evolution is a new thing I'm trying, as it's something people expressed interest in seeing. This is the first episode it will be in, so there's still improvements that can be made for sure. Let me know what you think!
I love the addition. I’ve always felt there’s so much interesting info the devs put into the weapons and armour. It’s awesome to see somebody paying attention to them more critically
If You don't notice, arzuros is the introduction to 3 endgame mechanics: deviants, apex and afflicted, i hope seen he doing more introductions in the future
@@Vayne_Solidor I'm still disappointed that they somehow couldn't come up with a better name for the Rise Apex's, because, really? Apex TWICE? Come on. They could have been called something like, i don't know, Vengeful monsters or something crummy like that. Vengeful Arzuros or Vengeful Zinogre actually sounds kind of okay now that I'm saying it out loud
@@anonymousalien7417 True, these Wanna-be-deviants could have a common name like now with Risen , or sth similar to Frontier's Zenith or GenUs Deviants, but not the same as sth that existed long before ....
Redhelm is imo one of the most threatening monsters in monsters hunter and it doesn't even have an element, it's just really hard hitting with all it's attack which is not surprisingly given its based off a grizzly bear and we all know how terrifying bears can be.
I'm not really sure what role a subspecies can have though because it can't be a beginner fight for element status because the raptors take that role and a more powered up one is basically redhelm/apex arzuros.
Given that he's part of the Arzuros/Lagombi/Volvidon trio, I'm not sure how unique the devs could actually make a subspecies to prevent it from feeling boring
Fantastic job with the new armor segment. I really enjoyed learning what changes the armor went through and just how vastly Arzuros became improved and different. I'd love to see crabs for the next vid. Great work! 👍
Thank you for showing a tactic that would normally not be talked about when it came to monsters. I came to watch the video trying to see a animation and left understanding the monster better
I really like the bears and the fanged beasts is a massively underused monster type that has so many possibilities outside of just bears and monkeys, let's hope we get more fanged beasts Also love that you are discussing the armours as well, always love when armours represents the monsters not just in looks but in skills as well, Azuros is a great example of that
I don’t think it’s a coincidence that arzuros is your first rampage apex and afflicted monster to hunt. Arzuros really is a great tutorial monster like you said, it won’t totally kick your ass but will teach that you will be punished for playing impatient/recklessly.
A new segment? I'm excited to see how it appears going forward. Perhaps the blank space on the left of the info box could be used to display the armour set you're currently talking about (if there's any notible changes between Blademaster/Gunner or between ranks)?
Red Helm was the first monster to wreck me in Generations. Adept style fits my playstyle perfectly and I had no trouble with anything but that bear. The tracking on his combos would always catch me if I tried to adept dodge.
I absolutely adore how arzuros went from a joke tutorial monster and over time just became more and more threatening. Leading up to redhelm and afflicted arzuros.
Would you ever consider a large group video of the evolutions of the Great Raptor/Drome fights? There's quite a few of them but their movesets are often rather simple. Might be fun!
Hey, would you mind if you make a revised version of some of ur history of monster videos?? Since some of the first videos doesn't have a armor evolution to them. It would be a great help for armor making purposes
I would like to see a chapter dedicated to Barioth He's not my favorite monster, but the X Blademaster Armor is my favorite set of all times design wise, and after This New section about the armor sets i wanna see, mostly because Rise and how It Changed the negative stamina impact for Critical Draw playstyle skills like Goss Harag set That and Barioth has been in each MH Generation since His debut in 3rd gen
I actually love Arzuros. Overall my 3rd favorite monster (behind Duramboros and Barroth). I also love that Apex Arzuros isnt a huge copy paste of red helm. Shame that Apex monsters are pointless in rise/sunbreak
You forgot that Rise added basically a rathian triple charge to him where he just runs around twice and then does the shoulder charge. It's super annoying.
The returning game monsters list is getting quite thin here, a shame the armor analysis is just now a thing but I dont really like hearing about stats, i was actually expecting design breakdown, so no loss really.
One of my least favourite monsters. It just doesn't work as anything other than a low tier pushover, and yet Capcom keeps giving us high tier versions. Redhelm, Apex, Afflicted. All super frustrating and annoying to fight
Fantastic job with the new armor segment. I really enjoyed learning what changes the armor went through and just how vastly Arzuros became improved and different. I'd love to see crabs for the next vid. Great work! 👍

neat, i do think it would have been nice to mention useful incomplete skills in older games (notably 6 points of charmer in the g rank 3u version.)
I love the addition. I’ve always felt there’s so much interesting info the devs put into the weapons and armour. It’s awesome to see somebody paying attention to them more critically
it's a fantastic addition, really helps flesh out the place a monster has in the game.
I like the armour evolution segment. I felt evolution for a monster wasn't just the monster, but it was Aldo the armour and weapons.
Armor evolution is a great segment, hope we get to keep it!
If You don't notice, arzuros is the introduction to 3 endgame mechanics: deviants, apex and afflicted, i hope seen he doing more introductions in the future
Not Apex (4U) tho. I refer to Rises Apex as Baby Wannabe deviants. Lol

@@anonymousalien7417they were supposed to be called Alphas apparently, but the outsourced translation team mess up, i guess
@@micahfurlow2624 Honestly that makes more sense, though I'm not really sold on Alphas, either
10:13 Oh god that Seregios! No wings and no tail! He flies by pure anger alone.
His bladescales jiggle so fast that he is able to generate lift

New segment is a welcome addition! Good luck with future installments!
Arzuros is one of those monsters that deserves to have a subspecies, I can imagine how cool that would be.
I think Redhelm was good at being a harder version, but it would be interesting to see like, a thunder version or something.
Goss is daddy azuros! xD
I'm not really sure what role a subspecies can have though because it can't be a beginner fight for element status because the raptors take that role and a more powered up one is basically redhelm/apex arzuros.

If Arzuros gets a subspecies, then Volvidon should get a Deviant.
People have forgotten about Volvidon.
I'd ask for Kecha Wacha for another monster to look into, but admittedly, Kecha's only been 2 games, so...
And you have to consider how little changes there were from 4 to Generations
Don’t forget Stories
@@toothandclaw4347 Well, he doesn't factor Stories in the videos.
Love this series, I always wanted a clear breakdown of everything different between monsters in their prospective games/variations.
YOOOOOOOO A VIDEO ABOUT ONE OF THE BEST INTRODUCTION MONSTER IN THE SERIES
That's an odd way to spell Great Jaggi

Same here, I get that reptiles rule and what-not, but it'd still be great to see more mammal love, and maybe even some more bugs
My favorite monster of all time, he's so dang cute!

I got ADHD i cant help it apex arzuros be kicking my ass
It's been over a year and I still can't get over "bloodlust incarnate"
Including the sets is a neat idea! Would love to see Kirin next :)
Red Helm arzuros EX was the most bullshit monster in GU but defeating him was my biggest achievement in that game too
EX Deviants in general, man

I think rise azuros is best because of shoulder charge, it is just the mixup he needed.
I absolutely adore how arzuros went from a joke tutorial monster and over time just became more and more threatening. Leading up to redhelm and afflicted arzuros.
My first mission failed screen is after an afflicted arzuros mission
He’s a pain to fight with IG
@@陳嘉宇-y4q at least that was your first failed mission involving arzuros, mine was low rank arzuros(p3rd)
image if you did an evolution on yours truly (Espinas)! it could teach people a lot about frontier that they probably wouldn't know about!
really good episodes and have a noyce deys
Please keep these series going I really want to know every monster history❤️💙
arzuros x was my gathering set in 3u bc it also came with some points in charmer if i'm not mistaken
wake up babe Heavy wing just drop a new vid!
Since lvl 8x Anomaly he slaps HARD af now
Love your videos! You are among the best creators in the MH community! ❤️
Bloodlust incarnate - Literally a blue bear that eats honey.
Would you ever consider a large group video of the evolutions of the Great Raptor/Drome fights?
There's quite a few of them but their movesets are often rather simple. Might be fun!
An evolution of Kut-ku could be interesting since it has been in the game since the beginning
Yet another lovely vid. Marvules as always
Thanks!
One thing I wish was in Rise was the fang beast bear theme from the previous games.
another vid, im happy
my man's a tutorial monster. needs greatest arzuros version just for the lolz
Apex versions of Seltas/Seltas Queen must be absolutely lethal 😱
I'm so dumb, when i saw the armor evolution i was like "what? Did Arzuros have a Digimon crossover"
I'm still sad the bear trio and the Tri raptors lost their themes in Rise
I have a suggestion for the older monsters when u do there sunbreak upgrades then maybe u could add the armor segment for them as well
AWESOME VID HEAVY

Clearly the best for me is the redhelm rocker arzuros it as some cool design in my opinion

Can’t wait for the ultimate monster in mh, shogun

Frustrating fight at times. He's pulling the Bart Simpson tech "I'm gonna swing my arms back and forth and if you run into me, it's your own fault!"
iirc redhelm also has the swipe to swipe uppercut combo
I think I should do either hermitur or ceanataur next
I grew up calling him Aoshira
One punch bear is good bear.

can u do a valstrax one
Ah yess Aoshira...
Next do barioth
Ah, the evolution of my least favorite early monster in rise. Love the new armor section!
Funny hungry bear
Bloodlust Incarnate
