    Vlog: 1 (2023)
Sandakphu Phalut Trek is one of the few treks on earth from which you can see 8,000-meter peaks. But with Indiahikes new route from Sepi, you can experience the whole trek in its purest form. And, this video will tell you why you should do the Sandakphu trek from Sepi.
Sandakphu or Sandakpur (11,930 ft) is a mountain peak in the Singalila Ridge on the border between India and Nepal. It is the highest point of the ridge and the state of West Bengal, India. Four of the five highest peaks in the world, Everest, Kangchenjunga, Lhotse and Makalu can be seen from its summit. It also affords a pristine view of the entire Kangchenjunga Range.
The main advantage of doing it from Sepi is you can avoid most of the motorable road sections. Instead, you will be walking through the dense green forest of Singalila National Park.
Also, starting the trek from Sepi allows us to camp at Molley and Sabargram which means every trekker can go to the Phalut top. Earlier only very fit trekkers would go to the Phalut. Phalut summit is one of the main highlights of the trek, from where you can witness the Sleeping Buddha up close.
In addition, Buddhist-Nepali culture is very unique to the Sandakphu trek.
Here, you will be staying in a tea house at Samanden, Aal, and Gurdum, where you will be able to sneak peek into the life of locals and get to know their culture.

Can you help me by suggesting some good trekking shoes, puffer jackets and all the gears you owned. Thank you in advance. One of the best detailing videos ever seen in this route. Great work❤

Generally trekkers who do it on their, i.e DIY style of trekking, they bring their pets, but with a trekking group probably pets are not allowed. But you can still confirm from the trekking company with whom you are going
