Western tourist be informed that the boat people kept asking us for money and we had to pay for their lunch plus the tip. So we really couldn’t enjoy this place..
if you are a westerner, avoid saying where you are from and just be aware and well informed! There are multiple accounts of foreigners (especially western) getting ripped off here by the boatmen.
Due to my experience I would say that this fall wasn’t worth the 3 hrs from Manila for me nor do I think it’s worth the price. But just continue to do your research and make the decision for yourself! Happy travels.
