New to the channel and catching up. I’m impressed. I didn’t think those skid steers would roll at all with no power. Thing must have been a bear to drag around!!
I bought a 1830 for $300. By the time I rebuild the motor and got it going I had $4,000 into it. The hard thing about buying it with out seeing it run is you ready have know idea how the hydraulics are and that will get expensive. I ran mine for about a year before the pumps started leaking it wasn’t a lot of money to put new o-rings in all 3 pumps but it’s a lot of time to take it all apart
I have a Case 1818 with the gas engine. It does not have any front hydro because it does not have the power of a diesel. But over all it is a nice little machine for my projects. I bought it last fall and only had 500 hrs. And yes parts for the older models are tough to find. I have gotten some parts from Messicks.
I bought a Gehl 4615 three years ago with a parts machine for $1500 all in got home fiddled with it fired it up backed it off the trailer and used it to drag the parts machine off. I am still using it drove it today even
This is my first time watching a video thinking this is a famous guy with hundreds of thousands of subscribers . Looking at the count and seeing it’s 300. Holy fuck the quality of this video is insane definitely gained a new subscriber. Keep it up! 👍
WOW!!!! You tied into a real cream puff there!!! Shes a bute Clark!! Lol i predict some good content coming from this one. Enjoying your channel more and more 👍
The skidsteer vid series could take off on you and should be a very interesting topic of all that could go wrong. I'll ride along and follow it and wish you well as your channel grows.
Awesome video learned a lot! Also don't take this personally but you would make a really good evil main character in a movie just something about you lol you should look into acting maybe
Pretty sure the wife would have preferred siding on the garage, but a skid steer is way more practical. Besides, we all know that siding installation leads to painting and it’s a slippery slope to the inevitable watching of paint drying.
only 2 points of tie down when 4 is is the law and it looks like your license plate is on the wrong side and you remind me of Christian Slater from the movie Kuffs with the way you talk
Not sure about other states, but in Ohio it just needs to be displayed anywhere in the rear. Also, four points is only for equipment over 10,000 lbs 👍. I've never heard of that movie, will have to look it up! Thanks for the feedback!
Good luck with that one . . . The Case 1835C is probably the worst machine of the 18 series full-size machines that Case built. The Continental/Teledyne engines, gas or diesel, were junk. I’m rather curious about why that unit will roll -- if the hydro system is in normal condition, the wheel will not turn. They might creep veeeeery slowly but otherwise they will slide rather than roll. I hope either the tow valve is open if it has one or the drive motors are empty of oil.
Just subscribe to your channel you got a good deal on it I think Just needs a little TLC and she might roll Enjoy the channel I'll be watching more of you have a good day

Always a gamble. Fingers crossed!
You still got a good deal on it including the parts $ you put in it!😎👍
Cab slides forward , get a parts breakdown off internet give you a chance to clean out and inspect the hoses etc .
Sounds like a plan to me, thanks!

Thanks for the tip, I'll check them out!
This is like a humorous, informative T.V. show that should be on HGTV. I can't wait to see how this all unfolds.
Maybe one day!

Thanks Bill, I really appreciate the support!
@@NockRanch You have great sound and your vid quality gives good views of the tight spots too.
I'll do my best to keep it that way!
Look forward to seeing this one. That's a dang cheap price! These machines in particular are fairly simple as far as skid loaders go.
We'll get working on it ASAP!
4:12 dude looks like Murdock from The A-Team
Funny how we all love a good challenge!
Keeps life interesting. Thanks for the comments!
I love skid steer content, subscribed!
Awesome, thank you!
I just bought a 1968 case 1835b. How is it going? My engine doesn't start and I think it is an exhaust valve. LMK.
Grab that wrench and get after it
yeehaw!

I'll take it as a compliment. Haha, thank you!
What area are you in? I am in the Pennsylvania mountains.
We're in Northern Ohio 👍

We'll definitely be getting the rest of the garage finished up this spring. Siding and stone veneer included 👍🏼

@@NockRanch then why are cars on a car carrier required to have 4 points of tie down and the winch does not count
