I love this anime. I've finished it today but I didn't want to watch the 24th episode because I cried too much. If Edmond seriously wanted to kill Albert, he would have done it sooner. I know that there's good in him, but the majority of his actions are because of Gankutsuou, and he doesn't really have consciousness and control over what he does. He loves Albert as a very dear friend, and he knows he can trust him, if he couldn't, and if everything was a set up, then he wouldn't told him the things that he did. Argghhh. I ship them so much but this anime is just very heart-breaking. +AMV Madness Well done on the AMV! I love it and it's amazing. Keep up the good work. ^ ^
I wished that Haydee had helped Edmond to regain his humanity, both of them staying together as in the Soviet version and in the book. I do not know how Edmond would look insensitive Haydee's beauty, the director of the Soviet version fell in love with the actress who played haydee, divorced his wife and married her.
