Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance & Mortal Kombat Deception (and I think Armageddon?) featured a lot of different fighting styles. The games are several generations ago but I'd love to see Gemma and Noah react to and try out all the different styles.
i remember that being kinda samplings of them. like they had quan chi use tang soo do, and i was thrilled..then they turned it into some kind of weird open handed strike stye when its basically tae kwon do with tons of kicking techniques. so it had attempts, but some of the styles were not really representative.
I love that the actual martial arts demonstration shows that Rain turning into water for that kick is _completely_ unnecessary, dude is literally doing it just to flex.
After a long week, almost nothing is as relaxing as seeing Gemma and Noah again. As always, they did a very good job with this recreations. Lovely and interesting.
I would like to suggest a one-off episode of this specific series - Martial Artists Recreate - but with a twist. I would like to be featured, playing myself, an out of shape piece of shit from the comments section, just trying to keep up. To help with context.
