I found it underwhelming you get only 500 gold per upgrade i take dire hero and rush dires i can clear super fast and gain way faster important landmarks this way i played 1 pvp 1v1 and won this way Edit you can also clear big stashes of gold too
As it was dais in the video in many cases you want to have 2 of the same creatures dwellings, but you don't need to upgrade all of them: when u have 1 basic and 1 upgraded you can upgrade your forces in recruitment menu: that can save you tons of rare resources (especially at last tier). Also: when u need some building to upgrade another you can destroy first one after upgrade the latter: I usually do this with Barya Workshop: i build and upgrade it for Hellroars just to destroy it and build mercenary quaters - i just cant find good use of artificers. Another one: Two or free types of units army can be really really devastating: you don't need to try to enlist all your best units to make your hero shine: i.e. my perfect Barya army consist of dire dreaths and hellroars in the +1 ratio for cannons (i.e. 2:3, 3:4 etc). Cannons take care of shooters and then everything melee ends up being eaten by dogs. And the last one: Rally points: guys when you have frontline vilage or city always put a rally point there: no being in need to make a hero-train to move units from your capital is mind blowing. You will most certainly destroy it later when your forces move further.
I play games as single player. I don't go online to play against other players. Questions: Is this good as a single player game or it is meant to be played against human players? How is the AI in single player? Is it good or is it too easy and therefore useless?
Hey there! My personal impressions were a solid AI on the battlefield, but the global map play feels like any other generic Early 2000s AI which just tries to waltz you down and tries to avoid you if it sees a bigger army. The battlefield is good enough to feel challenging though so I feel totally okay with the map play being more average than anything else. Maybe I'm also overlooking things, my impression is a subjective one.
For some reason, youtube refuses to let me watch your video :-( It just buffers endlessly, without ever playing. Other videos are completely fine, it's just this particular one yt won't play :C
@@Ic0nGaming Tried it again today, now it works just fine... TH-cam ist seltsam manchmal. After watching the video, I would add a tip 10.5: Magic focused wielders are easier to get started with than the might or exploration focused wielders. The might wielders can become more powerful than the magic wielders, If you know what you're doing with the skill selection. However, they take more work, time and understanding of the game than the magic focused wielders. So especially for beginners, taking a magic focused wielder as their main army leader is a good strategy. That, and to manually fight as many battles as possible. It's fairly simple to manually win even fights that autoresolve says are "impossible", especially if you have a magic wielder.
There is a little wokery- one of the campaigns is slightly, which can be ignored. The other thing is seeing females on the battlefield, but they aren't human species so not sure how the Harima work. ... I totally understand a deathly allergic reaction to woke, but it's very mild, especially by today's standards.
As far as THE MESSAGE is concerned, there's not much to be found. Are the Barons of Arleon oddly diverse for a medieval fantasy? Yes. But apart from that, the story is pretty free of real-world political messages. Each faction has its own motivations and each has some flaw in the core of their philosophies that justifies why they all oppose one another. It's not Tolkien-level world building but it justifies the gameplay well enough and provides just enough extra flavor to make it meaningful.
@@scottybreuer Also, the devs seem to care about hyping up the game, and making it a unique creation of their own, not just Fantasy-theme Product 4. If you're looking for a HoMM game, it's similar but not HoMM. The wielder system is both frustrating and satisfying to play with - I need to try it again now that we can mix-n-match faction units. And Barya have lots of guns. LOTS of guns.
the logistic wielder really helped my rough starts thanks for the tips :)
I always rush the economic upgrades. 3 of a strategic resource every turn is huge.
Me too!

Jak można pokonać taki odział jak proponujesz wyżej ponieważ kolega tak gra i nie wiem jak go pokonać.
Got the game yesterday. Helpful video
I like your style, man. Loved the Siralim Ultimate content.
The logistics wielder is super clutch!
Nice tips! Thanks!

Hello TH-cam, this is a nice video.
