your literally so good at this! i’ve seen a lot of your videos recently and i really am surprised and i think you have a thing for this! i really hope good things in the future!!
Her nails were quite damaged, I'm glad you decided on soft gel for the set. For those wondering, durability has to do with preparation and each client really, for me, they won't last no matter what, I have very oily nails, but some clients wear this for the entire month and come back for their next set with no problem.
Hey girl I love this set! How do you think this method hold up against acrylic? Do they last just as long? And are there problems with lifting? Let me know! Thanks!
I just started doing my own sets and i did a trial on my aunt - hers are still on after 3 weeks and i took mine off only to braid my hair. The nails are strong enough on their own, but for my aunt i did a thin layer of clear acrylic over the whole set to reinforce just bc it was my first time. My own nails i didn’t do the layer of acrylic on top and they didn’t break at all! I’m a quality auditor for a beverage company and i pop lids on cans all day long and never had an issue!
I started doing gel-x about two months ago. I change my sets out every 3 weeks with minor lifting occurring at the cuticle area only enough for hair to get under when you wash it for instance. My clients however, differ. I have a client who's all popped off after 8 days and one client whose lasted 2 weeks but just the thumbs pop off. Not sure if their occupations are hands on or not though. Hope this helps!
On virgin nails with no prior soak off I would say an hour and a half if you are unaware of your nail tip size. When my clients get a new set you have to soak off the old one which can take 20-40 minutes
Interesting design I was a bit worried in the beginning but turned out very pretty 🌼
Love your video!

How long does a gel X usually take?

What's the best gel nudes polish to use
I really like the Gelish gel polish in crème de la femme and the Venalisa gel polish in nude pink. Memeda has some really nice nude polishes as well
@@AndreaTejeda thank you
