On December 12, activist Rakem Balogun awoke to armed FBI agents storming his Dallas apartment. He was then jailed for nearly six months without the possibility of bail as the FBI investigated him for “domestic terrorism,” in part because of his Facebook posts criticizing police brutality. He was released earlier this month, after U.S. attorneys failed to prosecute him. For more, we speak with Rakem Balogun, who was released earlier this month after being jailed for nearly six months. And we speak with Malkia Cyril, co-founder and executive director of the Center for Media Justice and a Black Lives Matter Bay Area activist.

I really like this show. I never really watched it before because I thought it would be politically bias, and I don't like feeling pressured to pick a side. This is a show that any American can embrace. Great job!
It's filled with political bias. They are lying about the feds not doing this stuff to people on the right. The feds don't actually go after dangerous people on either side. They use these legal weasel words to harass people who are effective activists. There are plenty of other things they could say about us but being given a pass by the feds is not one of them. They are still holding people without charges from J6. We will never come back together as a country if we let these media people outright lie to stir up racial tensions. I am super right wing and I guarantee you that every normal gun-owning Republican loves the idea of decent law-abiding black people owning guns. It's like we get our news from sources that are so spread apart we aren't even aware when we are being lied to. Or hell maybe they legit have no idea people on the right are targeted just as much if not more and that it's never the crazy ones they mess with but normal law-abiding republicans. I think 90% of people on the left would be shocked at just how little actual racists are on the right. Rush reporting style, they always cut short and never properly edit their videos, it’s so irritating and painful to watch as people who are interviewed get so interrupted. Why can’t’ they extend certain interviews or all interviews into a part 2?
