They 100% spike the RTP to some games especially after initial launch (and then maybe randomly sometimes) to hook players in with big wins, and then hotfix the games back to normal to get you to lose everything back and then some. I have also noticed a hot run can immediately drop dead the second you make a withdrawal (especially a big one). Could be coincidence but it's happened too many times for me to consider it bad luck
