It is super interesting that Licht's son saw through Yuno's life. Seeing Asta and Yuno's relationship, Licht's son saw that not all humans are bad; which is why he didn't take control of Yuno during the elf arc. Most of the elves hated the humans but it's just amazing seeing how Licht's son reacted differently. Then there's the whole grimoire situation, Yuno's four leaf clover grimoire wasn't even his. This whole time Yuno was fighting without using his true powers, that's fucking crazy. Details like this are the reason why I love Tabata. Tabata is the goat.
The elf did take control but he's been living as yuno his entire life so he feels he IS yuno. if you reread/rewatch the elf reincarnation and look at yunos statements when he's in the elven form you notice that the way he's speaking is as if he's not himself but he still ends it proclaiming "I'm yuno and no one else" the elf never got to life so it didn't develop a personality or thoughts of its own. All it knows is being yuno. Which is why I believe yuno will be able to use both grimoires at once. The souls are perfectly in sync
Yuno will display his power in front of the whole Spade Kingdom and defeat Zenon just like Asta did when he crushed the ancient demon in front of the whole Clover Kingdom. Both acts are worthy of a King. Yuno as the King of the Spade and Asta as the King of Clover Kingdom.
Tabata was never fair in terms of giving characters their time, and if you are an author, it is impossible to give every single character their relevance, especially in Black Clover, it has a huge world building and have countless characters, so except from Asta, Noelle, Yuno, Mimosa, and some of the Black Bulls, any other characters could die and just be left behind. Tabata never gave importance to other squad aside from Black Bulls and Golden Dawn. Other squads only have their Captains and Vice Captain as their Top Tier Mage, and there are still 4 Squads who does not have their VC's revealed. We should just be happy that Tabata is still investing on semi side characters that are not in Black Bulls, such as Langris, the remaining Golden Dawns, Elves, Spirit Guardians, etc.
Why is the elven soul still in yuno all elf left everyone bodies already i just dont remember him staying so now he's like his captain vangence was having two grimore with one body lmao or yuno is half angel now as well lml.. or as n elf prince he has a certain power that can call on to his ancestors ?!

I took a closer look at yuno's spade grimoire this chapter and it had these flowers near the spade in the cover which leads me to believe that Yuno's actual magic might have something to do with spring as it was shown that him being born and receiving the grimoire cleared out the sky that looks like it is ending the forever winter that is in the spade kingdom.
Let's start by analyzing Greek mythology, the 4 wind spirits are children of 2 gods, Eos (Goddess of the dawn) and Astreus (God of the stars and astrology) there is also another child known as eosphoros (the morning star) so what everything really indicates yuno's new power is based on something related to the stars or even the constellations but even with all that I still don't see how he would defeat Zenon only if he burned it with the energy of some star like the sun, if this actually happen I would love to see a scene with a sunrise or even a green aurora borealis forming in the sword skies, it would make a lot of sense even with the golden dawn coat of arms.
After ALL this time. Yuno being ''beloved'' by mana was something i never understood. However, now it make perfect sense. Yuno was never the one to be loved by mana. But it was the elf inside of him, elves are generally beloved by mana. Yuno didn't really get chosen by the 4 leaf clover, it was the elf, The elf child inside of Yuno has wind magic, the magic Tetia had, the elf child was from the clover kingdom, so a clover book...Tabata....PEAK writing..
Same it's great writing and some people are confused how yuno magic is not in the wind element because the elf spirit picks someone with the same or close to their magic which we know both yuno parents weren't in the wind element or the royal guards wouldn't be confused asking why he has wind but people seem to forget the elf spirit is a hybrid so he has 2 magic attributes wind and maybe sword or a varient of that magic and because of the other magic is why he chose yuno and I really hope we get explained how a hybrid gets there second magic opened and is it different for each hybrid. Also want to see and explain holy magic we have 3 people that do a spell with it sister Lily, sister thresa and solid we got true magic and ultimate magic explained in this arc but frist saw used by rades and licht in the elf arc. Plus tabata just avoid the question about saint stage and why they are not training fuelgoleon and yuno so that leaves me to believe that it's more than spirit dive and a attack spell. My guess for yuno magic is light magic possibly with a holy light spell and that definitely has to hurt a devil.
I fucking love this manga. I love how Tabata writes this story. Everything actually makes sense and he does everything for a reason. Yuno is a freaking genius and has the wind spirit AND now has a second grimoire. I can’t wait to see how Yuno uses all these Magics together. I just imagine him mixing both types in his spirit dive. 🔥🔥
Licht's son is one of a kind that is always watching by Yuno and know how it feels making Yuno feel even more blessed having someone beside him to guide him
Yuno having two grimoires and revealing that he's been using the elf spirits grimoire this entire time reminds me a lot of Bleach when we find out the truth about zangetsu
This makes me think we’ll eventually see whatever asta’s original magic was supposed to be to since anti magic is technically Leibes and this whole series him and yuno have been using abilities that aren’t theirs
I don’t think Asta has an Original Magic since he was born mana less, even if he didn’t have Liebe he would still mana less, but by being mana less is what makes him the perfect to wield the Grimorie that has Liebe in it
Lol Yuno literally gets stronger just because he feels like it. But on a serious note it is nice to see him have to dig real deep. I didn't even register the fact that it was the first time he's cried since his childhood. Can't wait to see him and Asta team up with their new powers
The light piercing the dark sky reminds of what is said about yuno being the hope of the spade kingdom. Remember in the anime, when yuno was born, it stopped snowing and the sun rays pierced through the dark clouds. This is signifying more and more that at the end of everything yuno would stay in spade kingsom. He is not coming back to the clover kingdom.
yes, and I think Yuno's kingdom will be lifelong ally to Asta's future kingdom. (Past speeches like "why won't be the wizard king be the King" foreshadows that Asta may lead the Kingdom as the King)

It makes sense that he would get to as he still has two souls in his body. The unborn elf human hybrid, and the human. The two grimoires at once is from the 2 souls becoming one. Yuno Completed the soul merge and Asta hasn't yet fully merged the devil soul and his.
It honestly made me so happy to see Yuno break. Sure he's had terrible times before but now he's in a position where all of his power, all of his talent, and all of his previous success means nothing. A powerful gifted character from the beginning having been too strong for too long.

The point I was meaning to make is that seeing Yuno cry from defeat and failure was something we've never seen him do prior. He may have been born special, but that talent wasn't enough. I feel he acknowledged his failure, but instead of giving up, he remembers his vow and doesn't accept this loss. I should have said something more like "no matter how strong he thought he was or the training he did, it wasn't enough". It's nice to see a character admit how low they are in comparison to someone else.
I hope that elf spirit sticks around in Yuno as a new addition to the series. I would like to see the fairy and the elf interact with each other and Yuno being caught in the middle of their arguing every time 😂

I think being a wizard king does not suit asta even though it is his goal, I think most of us will see Asta as a "Devil" rather than a king, cause lets be honest, the clover kingdom is prioritizing someone based on their societal status rather than potential and power, Imagine seing a Dumb Devil with no magic ruling a kingdom with people full of generic and common magic, It will not make sense, I rather see Lucky Yuno as a Wizard King rather than Asta as Asta is going to be more powerful than that..
Yuno's new magic might either be ice or sun magic. To be honest, I would like his new magic to be sun magic. It fits him perfectly and also matches his squad.

He is not swordsman because he is not train swordplaying compate to reall warriors(he just use sword left and right like club, it is not skill of fenceing in duel , parrying or counter attacks enemy). Anti-magic and Light swords abilitys are not Asta powers , again. It is like if you have fire sword that blaze enemy and it is sword ability , not yours. Asta cant train anti-magic because it is Lubie magic or skill. For example Yuno use Bell only to amplifie his Wind magic (his elf soul part) but he and Bell has the same atribyte

In a way yuno’s birth reminds me of gojo’s because when gojo was born the balance of the world changed and when yuno was born snow stopped falling on the spade kingdom and the sun shined on the kingdom for once both were born blessed
Honestly it makes sense, during the elf arc when they where fighting the devil, it was stated that yuno had a combination of sword magic and wind. In considering that Yano housed the spirt of licht’s son for 16 years that soul is just as bound to that body as yuno is. Licht’s son never received his book so it set there and waited for the soul it was assigned to. I think the books are also kingdom based as well. When the elves were alive they got their books in they had the symbol of the clover and the same can be said for the present day knights. In if that’s the case then the same can be said for the spade, Heart, and diamond kingdoms. If the book that belonged to licht’s child waited 500 years. then the same can be said for Yuno since he was never really from the clover kingdom. The book would set there until its rightful owner came. In since yuno is final back in the spade kingdom he can now get the book that should have been his when he turned 15. In as far as his power level goes, he and asta are rivals, the whole manga it basically them being neck and neck to become the wizard king.

I think that maybe, Yuno was born as a genuine reincarnation, not one caused because Zagred's magic. This way we can theorize that during the elfs arc, the reincarnation spell just awakened the elf soul inside Yuno, and when it was undone, because Yuno wasn't a magic reincarnation, he stayed the same. This would explain the "I am you" line, they would be one person, maybe with two souls, but, still, the same.

@@FireinHair when the elf soul was awakened inside Yuno, he was in a listless state, kind of disconnected, like if he doesn't have personally. I'm my theory, that's because the elf soul didn't have any prior personally or memory from the elfs village to manifest. So, as soon as Asta appears, Yuno's regain his control over his body again, because the elf soul also recognizes Asta, and because the elf only lived the life Yuno have lived, he didn't oppose to let Yuno help Asta, because in a certain sense, they're the same person, with the same memories, same body, same goals and same personally.

I’m really feeling like this is all set up too perfectly. The mangaka is definitely setting something up. I mean it could be fate but I really like the time travel theory
80% of all anime portrays characters as such: Asta (Hard Work) & Yuno (Talent), Goku (Hard Work) & Vegeta (Talent), Naruto (Hard Work) & Sasuke (Talent) Yes both work hard towards things but it's always portrayed that those characters that Work Hard (more so than their talented rivals) always end up a step above in terms of power, they always start off weaker than their rival, then they get stronger then they are weaker then they are stronger.. near the end of an anime they reach equality and then Hard Work shows that they are stronger.. it's always been this way. So Yuno needed this boost to be on-par (for now) then Asta will show his stronger again.. just how its taught, most people love the talented characters cause they always have a more mysterious side but the thing is you can't beat this cycle because if you do and the Talent is the strongest at the end, you're basically saying that in life you must have talent to be the best.
Yeah Goku is definitely more talented than Vegeta, that's what pisses him off lol. I get your point but the dynamic between Goku and Vegeta doesn't make a good example in this case.
I think the shared message between Black Clover and DBZ was supposed to be "It doesn't matter where you come from" rather than "Hard Work vs Natural Talent". Both Asta and Yuno (and especially Goku and Vegeta) work their butts off, now we're seeing that Yuno's royalty in this arc and people (Nozelle) are just assuming he's powerful because he's a royal and completely disregarding the fact he's been training just as hard as Asta has on mastering his magic since he was a kid too. Might not have the muscles to back it but he doesn't just laze around

Yuno for a fact has been working hard , maybe not as hard as asta but still worked very hard , Yuno did not chill. All of Yuno’s training has been not done off screen and that is a fact . Yuno works hard and that is a fact and you are full of it to say Yuno chilled . Asta had to control an already full developed power.

So, Asta's push up and his sword training sure does impactful to his power. Ki sensing and how he learn how to channel anti magic is really significant.
I wouldn't exactly say Astas been matched. Remember he can still cut through magic. As long as asta has that there's no one that can match him especially once he get Black Guardian under control. Then there's the fact that there's not just one anti magic user but TWO. Asta and Liebe can do combo attacks we couldn't even begin to imagine. Four swords. Two people. Unite. Divide. Unite again. And then divide. If these two get good enough at combining and separating they can easily tag team and swap out swords. Imagine Boogie Woogie on steroids. That's what it would look like.
asta can only use his form for 5 min, and yuno can use his without a time limit he now has enough mana to hold out for the time limit and win or tie at least
As we learn, Yuno is not from the Clover Kingdom, so he can not be Wizard King. So, what will happen is Yuno will be the king of the Spade Kingdom and Asta will become the Wizard King. Everybody wins.
Yeah but the story needs to as long as naruto or one-piece right tabata has told this right if they become king this fast the story might end I think there will be a plot twist .

We know Asta brother, seen his mom, know all about the squads, and almost at the bottom of hell, there's not much more to add, unless the author wants to keep it going just to keep it going, to your point about being long, but that might make it loose its specialness. Everything has its time and place. There's reasons we love shows like Cowboy Bebop that only have 26 episodes😉

Just a reminder that Human Yuno and Elf Yuno are not different people fundamentally. It's a completely different situation from Asta and Licht: Yuno has had his elf soul since before his conception. This is because reincarnation happens at the point where the genetic makeup of a human is most similar to an elf soul. Licht's son was unborn when he died, thus the soul transfer must have happened when Human Yuno was about to be received. Unlike Patri and William, Human Yuno and Elf Yuno did not have consciousness when the reincarnation occured. Therefore, all their experience in life are exactly the same, making them have the same goals, same personality and same characteristics. This was confirmed during the Elf arc, when Elf Yuno was reincarnated there were no changes whatsoever to his demeanor and how he acted. Yuno is a person with two souls, while Patri and William are a body with two people. This isn't like Asta and Liebe and Patri or William. Those are two separate entities working together to drive the same boat. Yuno is Yuno. Yuno luckily got access to two souls due to past circumstances. Since they were raised in tandem, they simply coexist with the Elf soul getting magic supremacy because Elves are loved by mana and the Human soul getting body supremacy because it is the original soul of the body. We've already seen the Elf soul get body supremacy. Makes sense to eventually see the Human soul get magic supremacy.

Truthfully, I wasn't a fan. Asta had to work extra hard for his power ups while Yuno continues to just get power ups handed to him. And while Asta's power ups always have downsides, Yuno's rarely do.

Imagine Yuno's spade grimoire has earth attribute. And being it strong to earth affinity and him being loved by mana, he will also form a pact with the last of the four elemental spirits; earth spirit (most probably a chimera). The would be lit af.

Yuno gainining another Grimoire was awesome. I love how Tabata can make the rival character be just as important to the story as the MC. This is something that other mangaka struggle with. Saying that, I believe that his "true" power will be another element like his Wind magic and it will not be fire, or water. Why do I think it will definitely not be that? Because we already have established the respective spirits for those elements. What I think would be awesome if Yunos true power is an element that doesn't have a Spirit associated to it yet like Thunder/Ligthing (I don't think we have a spirit for) and receive one more spirit which would make him even more unique in the verse and would cause a bunch of hilarious scenes with his Wind Spirit Bell. Though it could be some other element but I just want to point out once again that it needs to be one with a free slot for a new spirit
Yuno and Asta are 2 sides of the same coin. 1 has all the magical talent in the world while the other has 0 but he has anti magic and devil power which yuno does not neither would be useless without their power but they also wouldn’t progress as they have if they didn’t both have insane work ethic and determination to outdo each other. I think because yuno’s training isn’t shown the same way asta training is people just assume it all comes so easy and he puts in no effort but that’s not the case he trains just as hard as asta does which is why they are both on track to become wizard king

Yuno had some pretty solid foreshadowing with his new magic as he has the boreas form. Boreas is the god of the north wind which in the northern hemisphere is a cold wind, he is also the father of the ice goddess in Greek mythology so yeah great foreshadowing there
What I mean it is that the 1st Wizard King and Yuno have a lot in common. They're both royals with Four leaf Clovers. And the 1st king had light magic. And also when Yuno was born a ray of light shone in the Spade Kingdom amongst all the Grey. Hope y'all get what I'm trying to say

Technically Yuno’s whole existence is a big foreshadow. Four leaf grimoire=elf soul, loved by mana=elf soul, wind spirit= elf spirit, insane mana and skill from a young age= elf soul mixed with his royal blood, the wind hawks Yuno saw when he faces the witch= elf spirit.
Yuno's magic will definitely be a arcane stage magic , he is from grinberryall bloodline , and if we look at the background , they were responsible for sealing the demon brothers and guarding them , so it must be that they had a magic that was effective against demons , and yuno is the son of grinberryall family he must have inherited that magic , otherwise there is no point in having two types of magic when ordinary magic doesn't work on devil's heart

Yuno still has his Saint Stage though. But, yeah, it is possible for his other magic to be Arcane, making him far more compatible when fighting against Devils so that he can still keep up with Asta.

That's not how it works lol... Different grimore will have different magic attributes. Since yuno own magic was not wind, he can have second grimore. But Yami only has dark magic so he can't have second grimore

A lot of fan theories think that yunos 2nd grimore type is ice. This makes sense since I think boreus the god of the four winds(which of course is also yunos transformation name) daughter is the Greek goddess of snow and ice.
It would also make sense because of the fact that the Grinberryall family was known for freezing up two ancient demons (the ones that got beaten up by Asta and Mereoleona respectively).

The way the story is being set up is that Noelle will be queen of the heart kingdom yuno will rule the spade kingdom and asta will rule the clover kingdom but they will all become one unified kingdom

It is super interesting that Licht's son saw through Yuno's life. Seeing Asta and Yuno's relationship, Licht's son saw that not all humans are bad; which is why he didn't take control of Yuno during the elf arc. Most of the elves hated the humans but it's just amazing seeing how Licht's son reacted differently. Then there's the whole grimoire situation, Yuno's four leaf clover grimoire wasn't even his. This whole time Yuno was fighting without using his true powers, that's fucking crazy. Details like this are the reason why I love Tabata. Tabata is the goat.
The elf did take control but he's been living as yuno his entire life so he feels he IS yuno. if you reread/rewatch the elf reincarnation and look at yunos statements when he's in the elven form you notice that the way he's speaking is as if he's not himself but he still ends it proclaiming "I'm yuno and no one else" the elf never got to life so it didn't develop a personality or thoughts of its own. All it knows is being yuno. Which is why I believe yuno will be able to use both grimoires at once. The souls are perfectly in sync

Tabata was never fair in terms of giving characters their time, and if you are an author, it is impossible to give every single character their relevance, especially in Black Clover, it has a huge world building and have countless characters, so except from Asta, Noelle, Yuno, Mimosa, and some of the Black Bulls, any other characters could die and just be left behind.
Tabata never gave importance to other squad aside from Black Bulls and Golden Dawn. Other squads only have their Captains and Vice Captain as their Top Tier Mage, and there are still 4 Squads who does not have their VC's revealed.
We should just be happy that Tabata is still investing on semi side characters that are not in Black Bulls, such as Langris, the remaining Golden Dawns, Elves, Spirit Guardians, etc.
Aside from this massive twist. The Art is also worth commending. Tabata's hand is just 👌

I took a closer look at yuno's spade grimoire this chapter and it had these flowers near the spade in the cover which leads me to believe that Yuno's actual magic might have something to do with spring as it was shown that him being born and receiving the grimoire cleared out the sky that looks like it is ending the forever winter that is in the spade kingdom.

Let's start by analyzing Greek mythology, the 4 wind spirits are children of 2 gods, Eos (Goddess of the dawn) and Astreus (God of the stars and astrology) there is also another child known as eosphoros (the morning star) so what everything really indicates yuno's new power is based on something related to the stars or even the constellations but even with all that I still don't see how he would defeat Zenon only if he burned it with the energy of some star like the sun, if this actually happen I would love to see a scene with a sunrise or even a green aurora borealis forming in the sword skies, it would make a lot of sense even with the golden dawn coat of arms.

After ALL this time. Yuno being ''beloved'' by mana was something i never understood. However, now it make perfect sense. Yuno was never the one to be loved by mana. But it was the elf inside of him, elves are generally beloved by mana. Yuno didn't really get chosen by the 4 leaf clover, it was the elf, The elf child inside of Yuno has wind magic, the magic Tetia had, the elf child was from the clover kingdom, so a clover book...Tabata....PEAK writing..
Same it's great writing and some people are confused how yuno magic is not in the wind element because the elf spirit picks someone with the same or close to their magic which we know both yuno parents weren't in the wind element or the royal guards wouldn't be confused asking why he has wind but people seem to forget the elf spirit is a hybrid so he has 2 magic attributes wind and maybe sword or a varient of that magic and because of the other magic is why he chose yuno and I really hope we get explained how a hybrid gets there second magic opened and is it different for each hybrid. Also want to see and explain holy magic we have 3 people that do a spell with it sister Lily, sister thresa and solid we got true magic and ultimate magic explained in this arc but frist saw used by rades and licht in the elf arc. Plus tabata just avoid the question about saint stage and why they are not training fuelgoleon and yuno so that leaves me to believe that it's more than spirit dive and a attack spell. My guess for yuno magic is light magic possibly with a holy light spell and that definitely has to hurt a devil.

The point I was meaning to make is that seeing Yuno cry from defeat and failure was something we've never seen him do prior. He may have been born special, but that talent wasn't enough. I feel he acknowledged his failure, but instead of giving up, he remembers his vow and doesn't accept this loss. I should have said something more like "no matter how strong he thought he was or the training he did, it wasn't enough". It's nice to see a character admit how low they are in comparison to someone else.
I hope that elf spirit sticks around in Yuno as a new addition to the series. I would like to see the fairy and the elf interact with each other and Yuno being caught in the middle of their arguing every time 😂

Honestly it makes sense, during the elf arc when they where fighting the devil, it was stated that yuno had a combination of sword magic and wind. In considering that Yano housed the spirt of licht’s son for 16 years that soul is just as bound to that body as yuno is. Licht’s son never received his book so it set there and waited for the soul it was assigned to. I think the books are also kingdom based as well. When the elves were alive they got their books in they had the symbol of the clover and the same can be said for the present day knights. In if that’s the case then the same can be said for the spade, Heart, and diamond kingdoms. If the book that belonged to licht’s child waited 500 years. then the same can be said for Yuno since he was never really from the clover kingdom. The book would set there until its rightful owner came. In since yuno is final back in the spade kingdom he can now get the book that should have been his when he turned 15. In as far as his power level goes, he and asta are rivals, the whole manga it basically them being neck and neck to become the wizard king.
Then again, Asta can get the job done quicker than Yuno

I think that maybe, Yuno was born as a genuine reincarnation, not one caused because Zagred's magic. This way we can theorize that during the elfs arc, the reincarnation spell just awakened the elf soul inside Yuno, and when it was undone, because Yuno wasn't a magic reincarnation, he stayed the same. This would explain the "I am you" line, they would be one person, maybe with two souls, but, still, the same.

I'm my theory, that's because the elf soul didn't have any prior personally or memory from the elfs village to manifest. So, as soon as Asta appears, Yuno's regain his control over his body again, because the elf soul also recognizes Asta, and because the elf only lived the life Yuno have lived, he didn't oppose to let Yuno help Asta, because in a certain sense, they're the same person, with the same memories, same body, same goals and same personally.

80% of all anime portrays characters as such: Asta (Hard Work) & Yuno (Talent), Goku (Hard Work) & Vegeta (Talent), Naruto (Hard Work) & Sasuke (Talent) Yes both work hard towards things but it's always portrayed that those characters that Work Hard (more so than their talented rivals) always end up a step above in terms of power, they always start off weaker than their rival, then they get stronger then they are weaker then they are stronger.. near the end of an anime they reach equality and then Hard Work shows that they are stronger.. it's always been this way.

I think the shared message between Black Clover and DBZ was supposed to be "It doesn't matter where you come from" rather than "Hard Work vs Natural Talent". Both Asta and Yuno (and especially Goku and Vegeta) work their butts off, now we're seeing that Yuno's royalty in this arc and people (Nozelle) are just assuming he's powerful because he's a royal and completely disregarding the fact he's been training just as hard as Asta has on mastering his magic since he was a kid too. Might not have the muscles to back it but he doesn't just laze around

So, Asta's push up and his sword training sure does impactful to his power. Ki sensing and how he learn how to channel anti magic is really significant.
I wouldn't exactly say Astas been matched. Remember he can still cut through magic. As long as asta has that there's no one that can match him especially once he get Black Guardian under control. Then there's the fact that there's not just one anti magic user but TWO.
Asta and Liebe can do combo attacks we couldn't even begin to imagine. Four swords. Two people.
Unite. Divide. Unite again. And then divide. If these two get good enough at combining and separating they can easily tag team and swap out swords.

We know Asta brother, seen his mom, know all about the squads, and almost at the bottom of hell, there's not much more to add, unless the author wants to keep it going just to keep it going, to your point about being long, but that might make it loose its specialness. Everything has its time and place. There's reasons we love shows like Cowboy Bebop that only have 26 episodes😉

Just a reminder that Human Yuno and Elf Yuno are not different people fundamentally. It's a completely different situation from Asta and Licht:
Yuno has had his elf soul since before his conception. This is because reincarnation happens at the point where the genetic makeup of a human is most similar to an elf soul. Licht's son was unborn when he died, thus the soul transfer must have happened when Human Yuno was about to be received.
Unlike Patri and William, Human Yuno and Elf Yuno did not have consciousness when the reincarnation occured. Therefore, all their experience in life are exactly the same, making them have the same goals, same personality and same characteristics. This was confirmed during the Elf arc, when Elf Yuno was reincarnated there were no changes whatsoever to his demeanor and how he acted. Yuno is a person with two souls, while Patri and William are a body with two people.
This isn't like Asta and Liebe and Patri or William. Those are two separate entities working together to drive the same boat. Yuno is Yuno. Yuno luckily got access to two souls due to past circumstances. Since they were raised in tandem, they simply coexist with the Elf soul getting magic supremacy because Elves are loved by mana and the Human soul getting body supremacy because it is the original soul of the body. We've already seen the Elf soul get body supremacy. Makes sense to eventually see the Human soul get magic supremacy.

Truthfully, I wasn't a fan. Asta had to work extra hard for his power ups while Yuno continues to just get power ups handed to him. And while Asta's power ups always have downsides, Yuno's rarely do.

Yuno gainining another Grimoire was awesome. I love how Tabata can make the rival character be just as important to the story as the MC. This is something that other mangaka struggle with.
Saying that, I believe that his "true" power will be another element like his Wind magic and it will not be fire, or water. Why do I think it will definitely not be that? Because we already have established the respective spirits for those elements. What I think would be awesome if Yunos true power is an element that doesn't have a Spirit associated to it yet like Thunder/Ligthing (I don't think we have a spirit for) and receive one more spirit which would make him even more unique in the verse and would cause a bunch of hilarious scenes with his Wind Spirit Bell. Though it could be some other element but I just want to point out once again that it needs to be one with a free slot for a new spirit

1 has all the magical talent in the world while the other has 0 but he has anti magic and devil power which yuno does not
neither would be useless without their power but they also wouldn’t progress as they have if they didn’t both have insane work ethic and determination to outdo each other.
I think because yuno’s training isn’t shown the same way asta training is people just assume it all comes so easy and he puts in no effort but that’s not the case he trains just as hard as asta does which is why they are both on track to become wizard king

Yuno had some pretty solid foreshadowing with his new magic as he has the boreas form. Boreas is the god of the north wind which in the northern hemisphere is a cold wind, he is also the father of the ice goddess in Greek mythology so yeah great foreshadowing there

Technically Yuno’s whole existence is a big foreshadow. Four leaf grimoire=elf soul, loved by mana=elf soul, wind spirit= elf spirit, insane mana and skill from a young age= elf soul mixed with his royal blood, the wind hawks Yuno saw when he faces the witch= elf spirit.
Yuno's magic will definitely be a arcane stage magic , he is from grinberryall bloodline , and if we look at the background , they were responsible for sealing the demon brothers and guarding them , so it must be that they had a magic that was effective against demons , and yuno is the son of grinberryall family he must have inherited that magic , otherwise there is no point in having two types of magic when ordinary magic doesn't work on devil's heart

Yuno still has his Saint Stage though. But, yeah, it is possible for his other magic to be Arcane, making him far more compatible when fighting against Devils so that he can still keep up with Asta.

A lot of fan theories think that yunos 2nd grimore type is ice. This makes sense since I think boreus the god of the four winds(which of course is also yunos transformation name) daughter is the Greek goddess of snow and ice.
It would also make sense because of the fact that the Grinberryall family was known for freezing up two ancient demons (the ones that got beaten up by Asta and Mereoleona respectively).
