Hey. Nice video! But I have a complain and its about the Hongbin and DO situation. The 'insults' were mostly mistranslations circulated courtesy of AllKpop. I was one of the viewers watching that stream and he was reacting to remix of the idol songs like Be mine by infinite, a red velvet song remix etc which btw were fanmade & were honestly meh. He is someone who is normally brutally honest with his fans , and has on multiple occasions expressed his admiration for infinite, Shinee heck he even danced during a few twitch streams to red velvets actual songs. Just because he was drunk and mispoke few things doesn't change the fact. Can we please stop bringing up a situation where a grown man was sharing his opinion, did no harm or call slurs or harassed anyone, owned up to his mistake and apologized when his twitch has many non vixx fans, non idol fans as viewers. Sorry for the long post but me and several other people who watched him have been defending him for two years now. And its tiresome how his character keeps being defamed. Please look up threads on Twitter. People have tirelessly explained everything.

Yeah it is very common to have not so chummy thoughts about another person cuz many times the actors get compared to eachother when they have the slightest similarity and all sort of other issues along with the pressure they have from their careers. So no one is completely good or bad, (of course not justifying their actions) it's understandable that conflicts happen but to remain professional under such conditions is commendable.
I was surprised when you mentioned Kyungsoo / D.O.. Kyungsoo DOESN'T HATE ANYONE. He is one of the most humble and unbothered idols and actors out there. It is just Hongbin who said unpleasant comments about EXO. The hate is only one sided.
I've read the "Cheese in the trap" manhwa and it's a happy ending one, why the drama ended up that way, it's a mystery..I'm a huge fan of Park Hae Jin, it's totally unfortunate, he often landed in the projects where the production team is problematic or shady (i.e man to man) despite being so talented, I pray he would get the opportunity & fame he deserves..

I feel sorry for Hongbin... actually I feel he was the most unfortunate member of Vixx. Leo and Ken have amazing vocal skill, Ravi is a talented rapper and songwriter, N is well received in both acting and variety show, Hyuk the maknae even though rarely join reality show he is also well received... while Hongbin... many people say the "he is just the face", his voice is so-so and his acting ability is not that great Even though I kinda agree with those people, I did hope he takes more and more acting classes and singing lessons, and someday got his opportunity to shine. A late bloomer sometimes can be the most beautiful flower But what he did during that lifestream really make him lose everything. Im actively a fan during the feud of tara. Hwayoung literally so happy that the public sees her as the centre of attention - that she suddenly ask for a wheelchair for that not-so-severe leg injury. Was doing just fine in the flight but decided to be pushed in wheelchair infront of the reporters and fans. When the bully allegations blow up, she use the attention to proceed in leaving the group making ppl into thinking all of the rumors were true. The reason i think why none of the members fought back that time was because, the one accused as a bully always at disadvantages. It's just Vixx's Hongbin who can't work with Kyungsoo. Kyungsoo's amiable and sweet personality, he can work with anyone. I totally agree! Lol about the piano getting more screen time- so true though 🤦🏻♀️ The editing was so bad the story lack clarity. So the webtoon writer decided to make CITT into a movie to give it justice though I haven’t watch it yet. She was very happy with PHJ’s portrayal of his character and casted him again but changed the FL. I really liked KGE’s version and some reviewers said she was the better FL even though the one in the movie is another of my favourite actress.

He wasn't getting more popular, they were trying to force him into the spotlight, in detriment of the story. I have nothing against the actor but it was annoying how much excess screen time he got doing nothing of relevance to the story.
I've read the Cheese in the trap manhwa and it's both greatly written and a happy ending story. Park Hae Jin is the perfect cast for Yoo Jung. This could've been the best drama if they actually followed the original story line. They left out so many back stories on Jung's part which made him a bad guy instead of showing the real psychological aspect the manhwa showed greatly. The drama failed to show how great the relationship between the main characters and ended as an open end which is total bullshit compared to the manhwa.
I was so mad with the drama staff for ruining Soonkki's work. If you really pay attention, there wasn't even a second male lead, it was Jung and Seol's story and Inho and Inha were only part of it because they affected how Jung turned out. What they did was extreme disrespect to the author's wonderful work just because someone from production liked the actor who played Inho more, when he wasn't even that relevant in the romantic aspect to begin with.
Cheese in the Trap remains one of my favourite dramas ever because of Yoo Jung and Park Hae Jin. He was such an unconventional male lead. Such an intricate character performed brilliantly by Hae Jin ssi. And the Jung-Seol couple were simply made for each other. Each healing the other and changing them into a better, happier person. Lee Sung Kyung was amazing as In Ha too. CITT could have been one of the greatest dramas of all time if the production had not messed with the original plot and storyline.
Hae Jin and Kim Go Eun did not dislike each other it was all about the PD’s because they liked the other actor better and wanted to make him the star. It ruined the drama and never gave Hae Jin the proper character development. Hae Jin has even said Kim Go Eun was his ideal type and was super excited to work with her.
I was really surprised with Cheese in the trap. Park hae jin was the reason I continued watching the drama and dropped it in the middle. Prolly I subconsciously noticed him not appearing that much haha. Also, the behind-the-scenes where the three of them were together, was adorable! I low-key started shipping them both too. But yeah, now I know. I love Hae-Jin and I hope only good happens to him

This is a great example of why I don’t bother myself with the lives of entertainers outside of their work. There’s never any way to fully know what happens between other people & that’s more true when involving people who pretend & put up façades for a living in a multibillion dollar industry.

first off Yewon didn’t say a single bad thing about Taeim as Taeim was cursing at her. Of course Yewon is gonna wanna say something. But she didn’t. Cause that’s not something you say to a senior. But here some still commented its PHJ's faults and he is problematic and all, which is also caused by a video in another channel. The slanders started in 2016 when people hated Yoo Jungs character so much, there are several malicious posts by netizenz. I read the webtoon and i do understand there's many hardcore fans of Baek In-ho. Fans don't want Yoo Jung ended up with Seol Hong bcs they favor Baek In-ho too much. They are fanatics and seems that's why they attack the actor Park Hae Jin himself. I think the production teams care too much of the feedback rather than taking the original routes. Maybe they got a death threat or something? But all in all, the actor hinself kinda problematic but it shouldn't got in the way of the productions. It just seems unprofessional imo.

As a Starlight (Vixx fandom), I was also very disappointed with Hongbin. Truthfully, I feel like since Hakyeon (N aka Vixx leader) enlisted, the group changed. Or maybe it's always been like that but we were just not aware of it. Even when Hakyeon returned, Vixx is already at the end of the rope. There is no official disband announcement but the existence of the group fades away. I guess it's better to accept that there is no Vixx anymore.
Just had to comment that VIXX despite the 3 members, are still very active- Hyuk, Leo, Ken are making a comeback and they are very much alive and still as talented as 6 member group VIXX. As a fellow Starlight myself, its part of the passage of time. Eventually, group members *will* pursue individual activities to grow and gain more experience in the industry they've chosen to pursue their talents in. VIXX members aren't exempt from that. Like Leo & Ken with musicals, while Hyuk and N doing acting jobs. With N, focusing more on acting. Also, VIXX has proven that they love their Starlight fandom by giving us a comeback this year 2023. One's favorite groups doesn't always end up being mainstream or in the spotlight (there will always be a surplus of new groups trying to gain the majority of the new audiences' attention-- you as a viewer just pick and decide what you like), but they do last long because of their fandoms and their talent + presence is still as strong as ever whether you believe it or not.
I have mixed feelings about Cheese in the trap, its a love/hate feeling. I hated Park HaeJin's character, he seemed so toxic and manipulative. Now I understand that probably a lot of questions may have been answered if he had more screen time
exactly thats what the drama did to that character which is not true at all if you read the manhwa. they left out so much it feels weird and wronged. the manhwa is a happy ending and the drama choose to promote 2nd ML who's the actual asshole in the manhwa
It bothered me because I love the manhwa and, as far as I am concerned, there wasn't even a second male lead, Inho's importance as a character there derived from his relationship with Jung, there wasn't a real, real love triangle, it was originally Jung and Seol's story.
I was enjoying the video until the last one came. Hongbin's live has become controversial as the translations of what he said was altered. I know he shouldn't have done that but mistranslation has demonized him.

Videos like these have got to stop. This is such negative content that further sheds light on issues that have happened in the past. Instead of moving on from them, we keep repeating stuff over and over again until the public's perception of someone's character is set in stone. Everyone deserves a chance to move on from their past no matter how bad it is. I do not believe that regurgitating these issues serves any purpose whatsoever other than justifying hate towards others.

Hey. Nice video! But I have a complain and its about the Hongbin and DO situation. The 'insults' were mostly mistranslations circulated courtesy of AllKpop. I was one of the viewers watching that stream and he was reacting to remix of the idol songs like Be mine by infinite, a red velvet song remix etc which btw were fanmade & were honestly meh. He is someone who is normally brutally honest with his fans , and has on multiple occasions expressed his admiration for infinite, Shinee heck he even danced during a few twitch streams to red velvets actual songs. Just because he was drunk and mispoke few things doesn't change the fact. Can we please stop bringing up a situation where a grown man was sharing his opinion, did no harm or call slurs or harassed anyone, owned up to his mistake and apologized when his twitch has many non vixx fans, non idol fans as viewers.

Yeah it is very common to have not so chummy thoughts about another person cuz many times the actors get compared to eachother when they have the slightest similarity and all sort of other issues along with the pressure they have from their careers. So the webtoon writer decided to make CITT into a movie to give it justice though I haven’t watch it yet. She was very happy with PHJ’s portrayal of his character and casted him again but changed the FL. I really liked KGE’s version and some reviewers said she was the better FL even though the one in the movie is another of my favourite actress.

He wasn't getting more popular, they were trying to force him into the spotlight, in detriment of the story. I have nothing against the actor but it was annoying how much excess screen time he got doing nothing of relevance to the story.
I've read the Cheese in the trap manhwa and it's both greatly written and a happy ending story. Park Hae Jin is the perfect cast for Yoo Jung. This could've been the best drama if they actually followed the original story line. They left out so many back stories on Jung's part which made him a bad guy instead of showing the real psychological aspect the manhwa showed greatly. The drama failed to show how great the relationship between the main characters and ended as an open end which is total bullshit compared to the manhwa.
I was so mad with the drama staff for ruining Soonkki's work. If you really pay attention, there wasn't even a second male lead, it was Jung and Seol's story and Inho and Inha were only part of it because they affected how Jung turned out. What they did was extreme disrespect to the author's wonderful work just because someone from production liked the actor who played Inho more, when he wasn't even that relevant in the romantic aspect to begin with.

Cheese in the Trap remains one of my favourite dramas ever because of Yoo Jung and Park Hae Jin. He was such an unconventional male lead. Such an intricate character performed brilliantly by Hae Jin ssi.
And the Jung-Seol couple were simply made for each other. Each healing the other and changing them into a better, happier person. Lee Sung Kyung was amazing as In Ha too.
CITT could have been one of the greatest dramas of all time if the production had not messed with the original plot and storyline.

But here some still commented its PHJ's faults and he is problematic and all, which is also caused by a video in another channel. The slanders started in 2016 when people hated Yoo Jungs character so much, there are several malicious posts by netizenz. Some got far by cut his old shows and labelling him as problematic and pricks. Even the agency managed to sue, the international post still there. Phj has no power to interfere with the production. He just clarified that he already filmed but dont know why it was not aired. And now..lots of haters throw hates again. The productiona already apologized and KGE also said her statement is manipulated..nothing more, stop the hate
I read the webtoon and i do understand there's many hardcore fans of Baek In-ho. Fans don't want Yoo Jung ended up with Seol Hong bcs they favor Baek In-ho too much. They are fanatics and seems that's why they attack the actor Park Hae Jin himself. I think the production teams care too much of the feedback rather than taking the original routes. Maybe they got a death threat or something? But all in all, the actor hinself kinda problematic but it shouldn't got in the way of the productions. It just seems unprofessional imo.

As a Starlight (Vixx fandom), I was also very disappointed with Hongbin. Truthfully, I feel like since Hakyeon (N aka Vixx leader) enlisted, the group changed. Or maybe it's always been like that but we were just not aware of it. Even when Hakyeon returned, Vixx is already at the end of the rope. There is no official disband announcement but the existence of the group fades away. I guess it's better to accept that there is no Vixx anymore.
Just had to comment that VIXX despite the 3 members, are still very active- Hyuk, Leo, Ken are making a comeback and they are very much alive and still as talented as 6 member group VIXX.
As a fellow Starlight myself, its part of the passage of time. Eventually, group members *will* pursue individual activities to grow and gain more experience in the industry they've chosen to pursue their talents in. VIXX members aren't exempt from that. Like Leo & Ken with musicals, while Hyuk and N doing acting jobs. With N, focusing more on acting.
Also, VIXX has proven that they love their Starlight fandom by giving us a comeback this year 2023. One's favorite groups doesn't always end up being mainstream or in the spotlight (there will always be a surplus of new groups trying to gain the majority of the new audiences' attention-- you as a viewer just pick and decide what you like), but they do last long because of their fandoms and their talent + presence is still as strong as ever whether you believe it or not.

I have mixed feelings about Cheese in the trap, its a love/hate feeling. I hated Park HaeJin's character, he seemed so toxic and manipulative. Now I understand that probably a lot of questions may have been answered if he had more screen time
exactly thats what the drama did to that character which is not true at all if you read the manhwa. they left out so much it feels weird and wronged. the manhwa is a happy ending and the drama choose to promote 2nd ML who's the actual asshole in the manhwa
It bothered me because I love the manhwa and, as far as I am concerned, there wasn't even a second male lead, Inho's importance as a character there derived from his relationship with Jung, there wasn't a real, real love triangle, it was originally Jung and Seol's story.
I was enjoying the video until the last one came. Hongbin's live has become controversial as the translations of what he said was altered. I know he shouldn't have done that but mistranslation has demonized him.
