I was looking for this game for several years. I remember playing this with my late father and I could not find this game since all his old games were sold. This brings tears to my eye.
The only thing that sucks about this game is that they dont give you your powerups back after you get hit. This gets increasingly diffcult if you are getting hit at a later stage and end up fighting the boss with only the standard single shooter.
@@giln4689 Yeah, long time ago. The actual cabinet was in rough shape and I couldn't fix the wood but it needed a new screen. I found a screen on eBay and it worked fine. There was still quite a bit of cosmetic damage to the body of the cabinet. The marquee was missing and the graphics on the side panel were pretty beat up. I sold it shortly afterwards for 400 dollars if I remember right. I wanted to restore more arcade machines but four years is a lot of time. Never did another one.
I traded in this game at my local Gamestation in the early 2000s and they gave me so much money for it. I can't remember the exact figure, but it was a lot for an old PlaySation game. I guess it was rare.

It cost $2 a go but if I put a 5c piece in there and bashed it in, it'd accept it. Good times. Downloading this rom now and will be up all night! I can die happy!

It is Raiden Project for PS1, it's just the person playing it changed the music to an arranged soundtrack at 2:30 that the PS1 version had.
At 2:30 he changes background music to "remix" instead of "original". :-)
