Just stumbled across this....and what a find!!! Top tune with intense Depeche Mode/Cure vibes. Love how they've managed to make 2016 London look like 1983 London. Combination of using authentic video cameras from that time period - with clever trickery. I love this track!! And yes, as others commented, theres a New Order-style bass guitar riff running through the track. 👍👌
i couldn't agree more. its suddenly as if all my goth music wishes came true and my cup runneth over... night sins, rosetta stone, drab majesty, she past away... i mean i could go on and on.. its amazing!
Clan Of Xymox, Lebanon Hanover, Molly Nilsson, and The Agnes Circle.......music that takes me to a strange, mysterious place deep in my soul, realizing Ive been depressed my whole life and finally finding comfort.
I feel the same way about all of those artists you listed and The Cure too. It's like finding their music comforts you and sings the unspoken pain you've battled your whole life. Yet, you can just dance and revel in the melodic melancholy of it all.
@@hide904 What I love about this music is that despite being super introspective, depressing and dark(which i love) you can dance to it and is energizing and liberating. It's like dancing your problems off and being free for that moment in which you seize to exist
Time 4 Change GASP, soooo much of The Cure resonating here, the plugging on bass just for starters! Listen back on early tracks in particular like ‘Primary’ & ‘A Forrest’ and enjoy!
@@hiedster14, yeah, I heard some early Cure in it. More so than DM. This makes me think of a mix of Xymox and Joy Division/New Order, with some old Cure mixed in.

It's too bad nothing more came out of this project than the one album. I feel like if these two had continued making music, they would be a staple of post-punk right now. They ought to be out touring with Lebanon Hanover and She Past Away.

I like this song so much. In music I like so much when a song create an atmosphere, makes me feel something, remember something. The name Agnes was spread through Santa Agnes, also known as Santa Agnes. Born at the end of the third century in Rome, according to tradition, she was killed at approximately the age of 13, for having refused the greed of Fulvio, son of the ruler of Rome. Miraculously, she escaped the flames intact, but was decapitated. Between the twelfth and sixteenth centuries in England it was one of the most popular names for girls, very common among Christians as well. It was initially confused as a variant of Ana, due to the pronunciation of the English versions of the name Ana being very close to that of Agnes. Currently, the name Agnes can be found with a greater number of records in countries on the African continent, such as Uganda, Democratic Republic of Congo, Tanzania, Nigeria and Kenya. Great band, great sound!!!

Such a fantastic song
It amazes me how people could live under a rock for so long
Wish more of the younger gen would go back to our roots and find the beauty in this type of music and metal too.
I'm 55, great discovery for me too! I come from the 80's synth pop
Same, send me your playlist lol

Arguably the best bassist ever. Yeah.
I feel like ive gone back to the 80s! Amazing, i had no clue music like this was still around
