I'm trying to upgrade from a 40'' TV with Native 1080p from like 2010. It's probably running like 10ms delay lol. I Have no idea why I'm stressing about getting a perfect monitor for gaming. But from what you've highlighted this seems like a perfect entry level 144hz monitor for me. Thank you!
I've been doing a lot of research on best budget 1440p 144hz monitor. The "ViewSonic VX2758-2KP-MHD" seems to be the best option. Another great option is "ASUS TUF Gaming VG27AQ" if you're willing to spend a little more.
For anyone interested viewsonic occasionally sells refurbs on Amazon for $179. A friend of mine got one and I was impressed enough to keep an eye out and mine got delivered a couple days ago. For that price I'm even willing to potentially have to swap but no problems with the one I got.
How do you like this monitor for watching movies? My current monitor is ok for gaming but it has utterly terrible black levels which makes it pretty bad for watching movies... :(
Just did some additional testing with some dark movie scenes and test footage. It looks really good for an IPS panel focused on gaming. Te blacks are not stunning like in OLED but extremely solid and not distracting like my cheap TCL 4K tv in the living room. If you have a sound solution (speakers or headphones), I think watching movies would actually be pretty solid on the screen
I has one and I feel the colors so shinny the colors r blowing , unfortunately I couldn’t adjust it or edit the colors , is there any advise also do u have the same issues ?
Hello, kind of new to this. This monitor is Freesync which is meant for AMD GPUs, if I am using a Nvidia GPU, is Adaptive Sync on this monitor going to be on par with using the freesync?

@@DylanHongTech Yes I know, but for example with Samsung Odyssey G7 (2k / 240hz), it's possible to plug your PS5 and play on 4k downscale on 2k. And I ask if this screen it's the same or not, thats it 😅

I use a type-c to HDMI adapter. You could get it up to 120Hz I believe but I run it at 60 just because I have 2 other 60Hz monitors while working with it

Good review! Just ordered it a few days ago. I'm pretty scared how this will affect my aim though. Just like you, I'm coming from a 144hz 24 inch FHD monitor. What change affected you the most? Was it the screen size? Did the mouse movement to screen movement ratio feel different from 24 inch 144hHz? Btw. you're a pretty good FPS player.
Thanks! It took me about a week to get completely used to the new screen size. I'd say the size was the primary factor, but movement played a big role. My reactions were off because my brain didn't expect things to look and move the way they did. Also HUD scaling was important for me
@@enesozdemir4085 mine has IPS glow but it's only noticeable when the screen is all black. It's just a normal phenomenon that you can't avoid with most IPS panels.

I managed to buy this for less than 200 dollars (before tax). Absolute steal, I'm waiting for it to arrive soon.

Yeah pretty much. A while ago, nvidia made it possible to use gsync on v sync monitors and it works great

Ahoy mate, some people say this Monitor has ips glow problem. Does yours have any? Did you have any problem on display?
