J-HOPE - Daydream REVIEW Right Here 👉 th-cam.com/video/1MieTs1pxo8/w-d-xo.html If you want me to do an album review of HOPE WORLD, give this video a 'Like' and make sure to 'Comment'!!!! love you guys!!! 😘 Want more BTS Reaction & Review? 👉goo.gl/afwKeM
Dream Yume Entertainment PLEASE DO AN ALBUM REVIEW. Jhope really did have all the credits in the mixtape. He produced it, the one who synths, and he wrote the lyrics to all tracks.
What I love about Daydream is how much it highlights JHope's vocal range. From his light whisper singing to his lower rapping. But you can tell it is him. Daydream 100% shows off him as himself. The song reminds me of 90s hip hop but it really reminds me of runway music for street wear. It really illustrates how well he can make music. I really love this for him. The video also reflects him as a person. I just really love this release.
I knew your reaction would be like this!! i think we can all agree that his low rapping voice sounds fantastic!! i mean we all had high expectations of the hixtape which must have put so much pressure on him, but it definitely exceeded mine. So yes, please do a first listen/album review to the whole thing :)
This song has been on repeat for days. This has such classic Hip House vibes and influences. His vocals are so good, the song is catchy af. I don't wanna wake up. Also, the philosophy of the translated English lyrics are something else. He's talking about his life and the challenges of being famous. Really well done and my favorite cut from the mixtape.
He is my Ultimate bias for a reason, the talent of this man is so freaking amazing. Im loving the whole mixtape can't pick a fave song. I love them all. Thanks for the react :)
I stan a group that talks about naruto, harry potter, alice in wonderland, hitchhikers guide, loving yourself, and math! All my faves =) You'll do videos on the other songs?
THIS! I was waiting for this. I hope Hobi gets to see this. I love your reaction. PLEEEASEEE do an album reaction and review! Do it for all their albums and mixtapes. This question will always be a yes for me :)
Love watching Joey do reaction n review to KPop songs, he has an awesome though about any song that he had listened to, n this JHope mv is freaking awesome!! Yea i will look forward to the album review i think that would be awesome!!!!
He did a Vlive introducing the album (right after the mixtape dropped) and talked about each song, it’s really interesting to have him explain how each song came to be, what work went into it, who produced it, what it means to him and stuff like that. it’s about an hour long but it’s definitely worth the watch. Here’s the link: www.vlive.tv/video/61315
Fun fact for this mv...at the end when he says "wake up," it's actually V laying in the bed. He was visiting J-HOPE on set and they decided to put him in the mv.
Joey wtf, are you psychic? All your predictions were correct.... one might say that is CREEPY ;) I love the chorus of this song, I didn't realise his singing voice was so nice, I prefer it to his rapping I think because the tone is sexy. This is a great song just to listen to. I think great for driving, you know?
hahah Thanks Kris hahahah I really love his singing voice too and yeah it really is. I just had a feeling about JHope that he may have a similar style that I like hahahaha
As always you put out new videos when I am asleep! ****crying in the corner**** I freaked out so much in my reaction hahaha I love this song ! Hobi is a true sunshine that has risen above us! all this fun and grove vibes ! Just a good mood feeling of it is wonderful! I am so so so proud of him and happy that it is finally out and breaking records! Love you Joey !
I was really busy this week and staying in my sister's house (where the internet connection wasn't working), so... Long story short, I only had the chance to listen to J Hope mixtape today at night. Yesterday I borrowed somebody else's cell phone for some minutes, and that's how at least I could watch Daydream's MV a few times. Hope World was literaly wrecking the Wold! while I was crying over spilled milk, having a heart to heart conversations and doing family things... Now, I finally can start enjoying this wonderful madness (the music, the fandom interactions) and I feel overwhelmed Haha (In a good way.) When I saw this music video the first time, it shocked me how nervous I felt: I had to pause and start over the video three times! before I could watch it completely. It's kinda embarrasing XD Anyways, before reading the fan translations of the song lyrics, I want to mention (somewhere) my very first/random thoughts, this seems like a good place to do so, here I go: - As I should have been expected, the MV is VERY COLORFUL. The bright, numerous colors really STAND OUT to me. Everything is... Kinda psychedelic? It really helps to enhance the theme of "fantasy" and "dreaming". The way the camara moves is so cool! The editing is co cool! O can't. - J Hope looks REALLY HANDSOME. I don't like BTS because of their handsomeness (I like them for their music/personality/values/sense of humor/etc), however, Hoseok looks really good here and that pleases me (a lot.) I also realise, once more, that I really like dark brown hair. Plus, the different fashion choices they made here are fun. - WOW The MV is HIGH QUALITY, it seems they invested a pretty high budget... Hobi deserves this, he deserves the best, and I'm glad it was worth it. - I was ironically (maybe stupidly) surprised of how much "J Hoooope" this is... It doesn't sound (to me) like a totally hidden side of Hoseok, it doesn't have a completely different vibe than his usual trap style rap... It sounds very fitting with his public persona. This doesn't mean it's not original, it doesn't mean the lyrics aren't honest and amazing, it just... It sounds as a continuation? or a confirmation? of what is the type of music he wants to make and what is the type of feelings he wants to make people feel (hope, hapiness, thrill). (This was my first impression, without reading the lyrics). - He made an Alice in Wonderland and a Harry Potter reference OMG (I am irracionally delighted about this). - This song gives me Darft Punk vibes, and althought I don't know much about hip hop I would bet musicians can recognize Hobi's influences everywhere in his mixtape, they must be obvious. - What surprises me the most is that (for me) the lyrics are extremely relatable. I thought I had nothing in common with Hoseok apart from being honest, humble and family oriented. - I thought the chorus was boring in comparisson to the rest of the verses (because the chorus is more stripped down/chill), but it's growing on me. I believe there is a woman doing harmonies... Bless her! - I think J Hope is better at lipsyncing than the rest of Bangtan (which isn't difficult to achieve nor a particularly impressive win...) If this is the case, good for him. - I'm kinda relieved that he isn't doing a choreography here, I'm happy the MV is about his music/songwritting/rapping and his little "I-am-moving-my-body-to-the-rhydm-but-not-dancing-seriously-cause-your-hearts-won't-be-able-to-survive... That thing is full of SWAG. - I can't explain how much/why I love the clapping, it makes me so excited to hear the beginning of this song. I love it. That low rapping you described is amazing too, he sounds like he's talking about something serious/like he's "being real"/honest. - In the chorus he says "wish on the sky, wish on a scar". This blew my mind... I think he's saying "sometimes I ask wishes looking at a star (wich could be praying to God or just dreaming of something with the innocence/optimism of a child)... And sometimes I ask wishes to my own wounds/expect my desires to eventually become true because I put blood sweat and tears into my work, because I try my best everyday". This reminds me to the dichotomy that is always present in RM lyrics. - All I'm gonna say about "Hope Wold" right now is: 1. I can tell I will like it more and more the more I listen to it; 2. There is A LOT of diversity sound-wise; 3. I may be wrong but I think the beats/the music itself is more impressive than the lyrics, and no I'm not assuming the lyrics aren't brilliant, Im just saying the beats and production is like OUTSTANDING - I hear so many things/details- and my ears aren't even a musician-sensitive ears. I think you're going to LOVE IT. :D
Hi Joey! I really enjoyed your review of Daydream. Please stop the video as often as you want to tell us your thoughts and please get super technical with us. I only watch Whatcha Got To Say, Arata, DJ Chadol, and you because of the music or dance expertise that you guys bring. It's like hearing or watching the songs again for the first time. I appreciate your genuine reviews and reactions. I have j-hope's music on in my apartment ALL the time. I will never get bored of his music because there's always so much going on. I find his Hope World and BTS lyrics fascinating because the music often sounds so upbeat but then the lyrics are often quite serious or melancholy. I can't wait to see you react to his second mixtape when it gets released!!
