People aren't trying to discredit Wilder when they say Usyk shouldn't fight him. Usyk isn't the type of fighter that is going to pick a fight with someone who has been on the decline for years on a losing streak just for the legacy of having that name on his resume. Even without considering the fury fights, Wilder lost to both Parker and Zhang clean. If Usyk had fought wilder a few years ago right after he moved up to heavyweight it would have been different, but it just doesn't make sense right now. Personally, I think Usyk would be all wrong for wilder even if they did fight. His movement, defense and pressure would probably be more than enough to shut down wilders biggest threats. It would probably look a bit like the Parker fight, but a lot worse for wilder.
Fury will never be an average fighter. As I observed the fight, Fury neutralized Usyk throughout most of the fight. Fury did very well, and that fight was closer than these casuals believe. All these non-boxers out here criticizing Fury when they have no clue. Usyk is a good fighter, so be it.

JUST REMEMBER THAT USYK DUCKED DEONTAY WILDER BUT WAS EAGER TO FIGHT EVERYONE ELSE. And when asked why he said “BECAUSE” he knows Wilder will sleep his ass. DROPPING GEMS AND SPEAKING ALL FACTS ALL THE TIME OG78. TYSON NANDROLONE FURY GOT WHAT HE DESERVED. BOMBZQUAD FOREVER OVER HERE ✊🏾💯
First off, those are only his 'professional' fights. You can't overlook the fact he was already an Olympic gold medalist with some 300+ amateur fights, and many were against quality opponents that later became champions as well. in those 23 pro fights he cleaned out the cruiser weigh division (which was arguably more competitive than heavyweight has been) and became undisputed, then jumped into the deep end at heavyweight and beat 2 champions 2x each and a future champion. It also has to be mentioned that EVERY SINGLE FIGHT he's had for the last 10 years has been outside his country, and usually in the home country of his opponent or in a place that is heavily biased towards his opponent. The fact that he has avoided being robbed while fighting a Russian champion in Russia, a Latvian champion in Latvia, and a British champion in Britain alone is remarkable. He's the definition of a road warrior, always fighting in hostile territory, and still being good enough that judges can't rob him. What else does he have to prove? He already became undisputed in 2 divisions and convincingly beat the previous champions, rematched both, and convincingly beat them again. The only thing he can do is rematch DDD (assuming he gets past Parker, which is not a guarantee) and become undisputed again. Even if he does that he's just going to have another belt stripped and given to somebody else because the alphabet body's HATE having the belts unified. There's literally nothing new that Usyk can do, there's no standout contenders that make sense to fight, and he's already been undisputed, so he would just be repeating that, it wouldn't prove anything other than that it was stupid for him to get stripped in the first place.
Usyk once again has proved that size and power alone is not everything. Let this be a warning to Canelo and all his fanboys. That's if Canelo ever grows balls big enough to step in the ring with Crawford. On fight night against Berlanga, Canelo weighed 193 lbs. On fight night against Madrimov, Crawford weighed 170 lbs. We are talking about a 23 lbs difference between Crawford and Canelo if they fight at 168. Now while a 23 lbs difference in a boxing match is a big difference in weight.....IT IS NOT A 4 STONES (56 POUNDS) DIFFERENCE LIKE WE JUST SAW IN USYK V FURY 2. Fury had a 56 lbs weight advantage AND height advantage AND reach advantage. Plus Fury is a GOOD boxer. Yet all of this was not good enough against a high IQ, tough, elite level boxer like Alexander Usyk. Fury even tried to use his weight by holding and leaning on Usyk like he did to Wilder, but that did not work because Usyk is an all round physically stronger athlete than Wilder. Usyk is just a far superior boxer compared to Fury, Joshua or Dubois. Yes, a good big boxer does beat a good little boxer 80% of the time. However; elite boxers like Usyk & Crawford beats boxers bigger than themselves 80% of the time! Always remember that in boxing "STYLES MAKE FIGHTS"!!!
@Tokkeru-z4f we all sing Alexander get knocked out by a body shot and get help from a referee I seen Fury go to the body no knockdown no knockout Daniel went to the body at Alexander had to have help to get up to continue so what you saying to me that Fury doesn't hit as hard as Daniel and if water has such a weak chin why couldn't Ortiz not come out would you agree Ortiz is harder than Fury .
wilder didn't have the movement or savvy unfortunately, Usyk moved a bit, and used angles and made Fury move a lot which tires a big man out, Wilder defensively would try and catch all Fury's blows on the forearms against the ropes, Usyk didn't allow Fury to pin him on the ropes. Wilder was a late bloomer in boxing had he learn boxing from a youth like Usyk, Fury would have probably been easy work for him.
Fury slapping with his back hand all night that ain’t gon get you no points man 😂🤦🏾♂️, i don’t understand how the brits saw a robbery, usyk punched him up all fight landing more flush shots with ease ain’t no robbery, for those crying 🤣🤣
Got love for 78 and Wilder was one of my favorites through the 2010s, but I don’t see why Usyk would even consider fighting him. He should beat Dubois in 2025, become undisputed and call it a career.
I'm curious. What's Usyk gonna do????? All the top heavyweights have been humbled (Wilder, Joshua, Fury), and there are no real emergent contenders except maybe Dubois. Heavyweight boxing is down bad.
Fairness is fury weakness
Well said
Exactly 😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂

Wilder and Fury both knew they shortened each other's prima and long term quality of life for our entertainment. First fight was a
Wilder knockout
Come on guys Wilder is done Usyk would make Wilder look silly
@@MCcalzone They must want to see that man get hurt 😂
Tyson vs wilder trilogy took a lot out of both them bois.
Yeah but fury was gonna lose anyways usky is just a better boxer
Yet only one of them cheated and got long counts. Go figure 🤔
No, usyk is just the better boxer. He dismantled him.
@@MacMajestic-p4i so let's not take nothing away from usyk.. no excuse regardless of the wilder trilogy.. even without that fury was gonna lose!
@@TCthaCrisisagreed
If Fury retires, I'll be glad to see him gone.
Same I don’t like the fact that his cheating azz is still in the game
It's crazy that Chisora is Usyks toughest fight at heavyweight.
Cause usyk wasn't a real heavyweight back then and needed time to adapt the weight. Now he is a proper heavyweight.
@t.f.1345 no, Chisora is the only one who brought the fight to Usyk. AJ and Fury was in there trying to box.
Chisora is similar in height so Usyk couldn’t really crowd and go in and out or high low… plus getting his body acclimated to the weight
Dubois actually should of won that fight.....c'mon
