Great video and great series, Tim. It sounds like you're telling us to plan to get out of the trade the same day that we enter the trade but we are swing trading. When should we look to get out of the trade when we have to carry it overnight due to PDT? Is there a way to get out before we get beat up in pre-market?
If you're in the trade at $10.01, can you put a stop loss to stop out and also have a limit order at $13 at the same time? so you don't have to watch the stock?

I still don't get how this would work. I understand the stop limit "If the broker your using allows it?" but if you're not at your computer how do you put the stop order in? Using Etrade and you can't put in all three at once. You need to be in the stock in order to put a stop order in. So how would you do that if you are not online? Even with Etrade's One cancels the other, you have to be in the trade in order to use it and it is not available with all stocks. What broker is Tim talking about here? I'm working on getting out of Etrade for several reasons but haven't been able to do so yet.

If the stop loss is actually a 'STOP' order [and not a market order] its actually a 'stop limit' order. Correct?
