Next season, if Darnold is still here, I expect Jones to remain the backup, with McCarthy as #3, with possible promotion by mid-season if McCarthy is looking super in practice. If Darnold is gone, then it should be a legitimate competition between Jones and JJMac for starter. As for Dallas Turner, I have one observation: Week by week DT looks like he's having more and more fun. A very good sign.

This season might be his best work there so far and Hopefully this off-season they can address personal to help elevate that more, but a piece of that pie lands on play design as well. You can't just rip the pig skin 30 of the 40 plays and not be able to grind out a yard on 3rd down and run clock, give the defense a chance to rest, by just chucking it all game. Especially come Playoffs, and road games
