Ryan the second painting, the windmill, is from Fable Lost Chornicles. I love that when you go down in the cellar the mannequins look like they are about to have a rumble haha. The ivy keeps this one from being cold. I would like the rooms upstairs to be a bit more user friendly. And I want my enchanter to be near the forge so I can enchant armor and weapons as soon as I make them. Still a very useable home.I do love the view. Say hi to Chloe. Hugs
I think it's a really nice home, the riverwood style building makes it fit in very well and the interior is nice and homely. The real selling points for me, however, are that incredible view of dragonsreach and the staff enchanter.
So definitely would have passed on this home, however the basement saved it. The basement makes the rest of the home. I would live here, if it wasn't for the other great homes I have seen. They did a great job packing so much into the home, without making it so massive. 7 out of 10 for me. Great showcase as usual Ryan.

I like it, personally I’m not really huge on the storage unit, although I do wish more homes would make unique storage cases for things like black books and TESs. 7/10
Well, the water at the smithy is probably called "static water" 😉 I honestly wished it would be possible to have activators that open a menu from which you can choose what you want to place in certain spots (which admittedly exist in showcases). For one it would make it possible to place different objects at places where the designated ones are supposed to be if you A) don't have a it yet and more importantly B) if you have another home with a similar arrangement and stuffed every important item in there. I've seen to many homes (not just here) that are great but have exactly these named activators which leads to one outcome: an empty vault or even an empty area that is in your home - especially the latter would be a bummer. Always looking at these empty shelves. An activator that would allow you to place different objects would also be great to decorate, putting additional items in your home - now I see the problem of objects being in different shape or size but it would be great nonetheless if someone could pull of that trick. For example: a place for goblet-sized objects. This could be a goblet, a flask, a bottle of vine but also for example one of these goblet-shaped things you mostly see crystals placed on. No idea if that would be possible. Another option to at least avoid empty shelves would be a switch to change a shelf's designated object to another object, maybe a vanilla objective or another mod object. Yeah, I know it's a bit much asked for but as you pointed out: mamy also use the same place for their home mods. Would be nice to have homes in different places, sometimes just having a building somewhere.

It’s called cliffsedge escape and it’s apparently only accessible via fast travel or the “dragon landing pad” I know you like those high up homes so I figured I’d mention it. I’m about to check it out myself but would love to see you’re thoughts on it.

Does anyone know any good house mods that are not in the Whiterun/Riverwood area? I like the area but i already have houses there. There seem to be a lack of house mods in the western and southern areas of Skyrim.
I’d say the opposite, as Falkreath, Whiterun, and the Rift plenty homes to go around. The areas that lack homes are the Reach (probably due to lack of flat land and clipping issues) and Winterhold, which sucks as I would love to see a Mage home just outside of the college.
@@shadowdweller3967 I would want a log cabin home in Winterhold that Norse mythology feel to it and and Dwarven tower there for a wizard home. So you can be either type.
Hm 7/10 it's nice aesthetically but (I can't believe Im saying this) there's _too_ much static decor. Having static items like plates is fine but not allowing the player to interact with things like chests, bags, or even benches is a bit disappointing. Especially when it looks like you are supposed to be able to interact with it. Sadly the child's room barely has any space to move and has little to no room for storage. It almost looks like a spruced up closet 😕

For some reason this mod as another bridge right on top of the bridge leading to river wood block it. Has this happened to anyone else.

Hard no with the basement, but collector-centered homes aren't my jam anyway. I really like the way they did the kids' rooms, though.
