Sorry everyone I had to post another one. The other one was wrong. Can anyone who heard the first version tell what the difference is with the audio?
I am not sure, but at 1:02-1:03 you can hear John for a second, might be better to remove that?
@@charlesklein213 Well I made a big error and I didn't notice. Julian's vocal was a full half step higher than Paul. I wasn't very attentive. I take the dumbass award.

My suggestions I can think of now: (1) Ringo and Paul each have live versions of I want to be Your Man; (2) Lennon played Blue Suede Shoes (search youtube "Blues Suede Shoes (John Lennon with Eric Clapton)" and Paul did a bit of this if you search youtube "Paul McCartney: Chaos and Creation At Abbey Road" at minute 58 at the end (and of course you can pair John and Paul with Elvis if you are missing a verse); (3) Ringo did a nice recording of I Call Your Name in the 1980s and would be nice to pair that with John's from the beatles.

Paul has been a part of Julian's life since he was young. The song, "Hey, Jude", was written for him. It's wonderful that all these years later they are still close.

I am 64 and I really enjoyed hearing that song - even if it is an old song - I feel that we will all be young again and that there will be the resurrection of everyone so we will all enjoy youth forever in the future.

Paul and Julian are the perfect Beatles voice's sound, Julian lennon was at the top of his career in the 80, when someone from the media said ,"he sound like his father" give me a break..of course it has to sound like his father , i did like Julian's voice , as well Danhi Harrison voice, i think they together should record a single and please Beatles's fans

Yes, till now I hadn't known Julian has an exquisite voice! Plus, Julian's blends so well with Paul's. Like they have some chemistry together. After all, Paul wrote "Hey Jude" in large measure thinking of Julian. Paul was driving his Aston Martin DB6, customized with a recording /playing reel-to-reel tape deck, over to visit Cynthia and Julian, when John was breaking up with 'Cyn.'

And I just happened to be reading last night that one of the reasons Paul even thought to work on a song while driving to Kenwood is that's what he ALWAYS did when driving there, because normally he'd be going to work on a song with John!
So it makes sense that by force of habit, there was Paul working on a song while driving there.
(But now John had taken over Paul's house with Yoko glued at the hip to him, and also living there was Francie Schwartz, and the three of them were kind of trashing Paul all day, according to Francie's book.}
Anyway, the point is Paul was probably pretty bummed out about John slipping away from him as well. He sensed he was next to be divorced from. And so he was writing this song to Julian about how to make it better, as much as he himself was trying to figure out how to make it better. And he thought he saw a way out. His advice for Julian was also advice to himself.
BECAUSE, in the spring he had just briefly reconnected with Linda in America and after writing this song would soon in September ask her to join him in his Cavendish house in London. "You have found her, now go and get her ...?" To make it better.

If I were ever to talk with Julian Lennon, I would discuss what HE is doing and not mention anything about the Beatles or the members of said group, or his dad. He has put up with that crap all of his life and I would refuse to bring it up. Julian has enough accomplishments to discuss to last quite awhile.
