Shark Ion Robot Vacuum won't connect to WIFI - SOLUTION!

- I was so frustrated that I could not connect my new Shark Ion RV700 Series 3 Robot Vacuum to my WiFi....but thankfully I came across someone in a review that I read that had the simple fix....Watch the video & I'll show you what worked for me.

It worked! It's a shame Shark has't fixed this programming problem by now. When I bought my vacuum I tried everything to connect. After hours of frustrating research I finally called tech support, who couldn't tell me how to fix it. My issue was escalated to another department and I was told I would be contacted via email. I received an email that said" Congratulations you're all set". No explanation, no nothing. I was just relieved that is was connected. Then two months later it wasn't. It was past the return and refund period so I couldn't return it. Then I started searching TH-cam and came across your video. Thank you "Helpful Info"! What a simple solution. Shark should be imprisoned for not communicating this to Shark Robot Vacuum buyer's.

I brought this as a birthday gift for my wife and have been back and forth with Shark tech support for two days and all I had to do was come to find the solution on TH-cam?! I have no words for our generation of techies that can’t dot their i’s and cross their t’s. Hairpulling, Thank you so much.

Saving the day! I had this guy for a little over a year now and had pretty much given up. Saw this video and wanted to give it a shot. I didn't want to change my 2.4ghz network and have to re setup any of my devices tied to it so i created another 2.4ghz network as a guest network to broadcast along side it made it without spaces and immediately it paired you're an absolute life saver!

It works. Thank you and the amazon user for the info. I encountered the space problem yrs ago in visual basic. Shame on shark for not correcting this error in a firmware update.
This ACTUALLY WORKED!!! I was struggling and tried all the recommendations and this was the simple solution lol. Glad it was something as simple as this I bought it as a Christmas gift and was so worried it was defective, thank you for the help!

Well after hours of trying to connect, and watching your video. The easiest solution I found was just to make your ssid one word, and password one word. Your ssid can be as many words as you want, but just combine it to one word and no spaces. Either way you will have to go into your devices and reconnect to the internet, and mke sure it's on the 2.4 ghz. Works like a charm, thanks for the help.

How about creating another SSID network, like a guest one with the underscore instead of changing everything? I haven’t tried this but plan to do this today. Sounds easier than changing all your devices!

I had my screen size to large and the app wouldn't work until I reduced it.
“Reconnect everything” to reconnect this one thing. Nope! Returning.

Your SSID is your wifi name.

You need to have an underscore no space
